The Gallery Inn is an amazing place. Owner Jan, an artist, has decorated the entire inn with her art work. The ambiance is outstanding. The staff were lovely and gracious. We were fortunate to be there on a Friday night when a gourmet dinner is served at the inn and it was outstanding. The location is perfect- right across from... More

We just got back from staying in Old San Juan and we stayed at the Gallery Inn and had such an incredible time!! This was the third time that we have stayed there and we have to say that it is an amazing place. First of all the location can't be beat, it's right in Old San Juan, all within... More

The 300 + year old Inn is a unique experience. The accomodations are superior and the food is outstanding. The owner and staff are warm and personable and love to serve you. As an avid international traveler I can tell you this is a great stay. Jan D'Esopo is a painter / sculptor and has wonderful art throughout the entire... More

We stayed here for two nights. At first it was charming. The plants are great. You walk from room to room, but it's very dark inside. We were upgraded to a room facing the street. The room was very decorated with heavy fabrics and lots of pillows and the bed was very comfortable. But the inn needs updating , a... More

The hotel's location is excellent, overlooking Atlantic and near El Morro. The rooms are interesting and unusual, although in need of a handyman to fix quirky faucets, lights etc. This is not a luxury hotel and the buildings are very old, so expect uneven stone floors and creaky stairs. Our room (The Library) was sparsely furnished and one switch turned... More

Short summary: If you have a realistic expectation and understanding as to the identity of this Inn, you will find your visit nothing less than spectacular. It was our first visit to PR. We stayed at La Conquistador, Gran Melia and the Gallery Inn. Our favorite was the Gallery Inn. Honestly, ask yourself this question, when is the last time... More

Even though our flight with Spirit airlines was an amazing 12 hours late, and we arrived in the middle of the night, we were treated and welcomed like family. It was hard not to spend too much time at the inn instead of exploring. The staff were all very friendly, the breakfasts were good, and the coffee was amazing. We... More

Spent one night at the Gallery Inn following our cruise. This hotel was filled with both highs and lows. Lets start with the highs. There were two young men working there that provided us with wonderful service. They carried bags, gave us a tour, and even attempted to fix some of our problems. They were the highlight - absolutely wonderful!... More

A truly unique setting in Old San Juan. Very intimate setting with a variety of rooms...every one different. A rooftop patio to enjoy coffee at sunrise and wine at sunset. Short walk to downtown Old San Juan, and all of the historic sites. Very friendly owners, interesting history. A definite must.
