We were greeted by super friendly staff (John) and upgraded to a nicer room when we told him we were on honeymoon. He told us all the best places to go in Old San Juan and Puerto Rico in general. The hotel is beautiful, and the location is perfect.

We were fortunate to have stayed here for two nights before a cruise. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit small but the quaintness of the place makes up for it. Continental breakfast was just fine. Location in Old San Juan is perfect for walking to El Morro and you can see the Cathedral from... More

Great location. We had one of the rooms upstairs, and once you open the door you have a huge room. The room was beatiful, also a nice bathroom. We loved it and will be back without doubt. Very comfortable bed.

We stayed 1 night pre-cruise and it was the best experience of Old San Juan. We were greeted by one of the friendlist person that checked us in which was at an old desk and then given a map of old San Juan which he marked out points of interest and places to eat. We had no problem walking around... More

Book. Your. Room. At this Hotel. I would seriously suggest not reading this review and rushing to hit "confirm" on the reservation for this hotel. It was perfect. There are only 8 rooms, so make sure you get yours. The building is about 500 years old (the manager has some history) and each room is expertly decorated in funky san... More

We stayed here to get a real taste of Old San Juan without having to pay El Conventos high prices. Wow, this was great. We stayed in H9 and it was the largest suite, clean, historic and great location. I will be going back there. The best spot of our two week vacation, even better than the Intercontinental in my... This is nothing like staying at your typical Marriott or Hilton. It is a totally different experience that fits perfectly with what Old San Juan has to offer. It is very small (8 rooms I believe). Each room is indoor, but poems to a Courtyard. We loved the decor and the service was great. One thing to keep in mind... More

What a wonderful gem! Pros: romantic decor, great location, amazingly comfortable canopy beds. Even sheltering from the rain instead of exploring doesn't seem so bad in this lovely hotel. Cons: The breakfast is very plain... But then again, for this value, why don't you go explore the lovely little restaurants in the city instead? All in all, a great deal... More

I would call this more of a boutique hotel than a B&B but it could go either way. There are two rooms upstairs and 6 (I think) downstairs. The upstairs rooms are definitely worth it if you can get one. There is a large outdoor patio area upstairs that you can see in some of the pics. Anybody at the... More

I got a chance to stay for the weekend, just this past weekend. The hotel is small, quaint, charming and beautiful. It smells like flowers, at sundown it is candle lit. Small details, like an umbrella in my room, make a difference (it was raining upon my arrival). Located beautifully in historic Old San Juan, I would love to go... More
