Our family (2 adults and 3 children ages 4, 12, and 14) stayed at Mary Lee's by the Sea for 7 nights last Christmas break. It was fabulous! We wanted something off the beaten path and this was it! We flew into San Juan and rented a car to drive to Guanica. We stopped at a grocery store just before... more

My husband and I found our way to Mary Lee's on our third day in Puerto Rico. After a day in Ponce, we had a wonderfully drastic change in scenery and atmosphere coming to Mary Lee's near Guanica. We were graciously upgraded to a beautiful mini-apartment with ocean view. Before arriving, we took Mary Lee's advice and stopped at a... more

Mary Lee's was a great value for the price. If you go to the website you'll see exactly what the rooms and property look like, and that's exactly what it was. It's like staying in a tropical, colorful camp. Our room Alegre had a ktichen and nice view of the proeperty. The best thing about going here is that you... more

Mary Lee's is extremely tranquil and relaxing. My friend and I stayed in the Pacifica, a three bedroom guesthouse. Complete with a courtyard and grill, a full kitchen, living room, dining room and two baths- it was incredible. On top of that, we had a huge sundeck that looked out into the ocean. She also let us use her washer... more

What a unique and wonderful place to stay! The location is great for exploring the dry forest and local beaches. We loved getting up and being on the first boat to Gilligan's Island in the morning (it lost a little of its charm later in the day as more people would arrive). We loved the privacy and the funky decor.... more

My family of four (kids 9 and 6) stayed here recently. No problem finding it's location, the road is very winding and caution is advised while traveling at night. We stayed in Tranquilla, which can sleep 10 people. We were upgraded because someone else had requested our original room. This is a very large unit and has a great deck... more

My husband and two teenage children stayed in Tranquila in late March. We had read a lot about Mary Lee's and, based on the reviews, expected something a little run down but funky. What we found far exceeded our expectations. In fact, our unit felt palatial and we were enchanted to enter it. We arrived in the evening and the... more

This is a great location and plenty of outdoor activities hiking the Guanica Dry Forest, Kayaking and snorkeling. We loved Gilligans Island a short boat ride from Mary Lee's ($5 round trip per person). We were celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary so we went to the nearb y Copamarina Resort and had a wonderful dinner in Restaurant Alexander - a... more

Informal guest house that has been a place of respite for more than 20 years on the southside of Puerto Rico. Kind of like going to your older aunts beach house in terms of decor, but if you like to be self sufficient great because most rooms come complete with a kitchen and all the items needed to cook, eat,... more

Had an opportunity to fly down to Ponce on a night flight. Arrived Ponce at 4am and picked up a car for the 1 hour drive to Guanica. Marylees by the Sea was available so booked in for 2 nights. The Inn is run by the delightful Marylee and all her rooms are special. There is a nice big resort... more
