If you want to climb the blue mountain, do not go to this guesthouse. First, they will make you sleep in a room where there is no water, so no shower. Second, the prices are way too. high. $ 50 per room, $ 100 back and forth transportation from Mavis Bank to the Guesthouse and another completely useless $50 for... More

Me and my friend had an awesome time at Jah B's!! Really cool rasta vibe, great rooms and commun places, awesome view, delicious ital food and his son was a really nice guide!! Thanks to them for all the works they've been doing since so long in order to maintain that little slice of paradise in the middle of the... More

The location is obviously great for hiking. The homemade food was good veg grub. The atmosphere was weird. Although people were nice it fel like they did not really care about us and we were imposing on their home. The transport was very expensive and as Jah B drove us back down he stopped to talk too what seemed like... More

I encourage everyone to experience this place for at least a few nights.Yeah it might be a littttle pricey but it is MORE than worth it. The community in the Blue Mountains is like no other, and if you take the chance to get to know the wonderful people, expect your perspective on life to shift a little. The people... More

After several recommendations, I ended up at this place. I found another traveller to go with me. I wanted to summit Blue Mountain peak, and spend some time in the mountains. This place seemed the best choice and was my first choice. I am glad I stayed here. The place is rustic but has a good vibe to it. May... More

Jah B´s Guesthouse is one of the most remote places in Jamaica, though it´s only approx. 40 km from Kingston. The road up there, especially from Hagley Gap till the Guesthouse, is extremely rugged and steep, a real strong 4x4 is needed to reach the place. You can take public transport (minibuses) till Mavis Bank or Hagley Gap, and ask... More

Jah B is like the blue mountains seigneur. Because you don't have choice to take other transport or eat dinner in different place EVERYTHING is really expensive. Every day this same vege food. Worst and most expensive breakfast on Jamaica. No shower, problem with drinking water. We meet a lot really nice people on Jamaica, Jah B isn't one of... More

The ride up to Jah B's is definitely an adventure. We tried to save money and go with JUTA but it turns out to be expensive in the end since they don't take you all the way up. Next time, we'll be accepting the offer from Jah B and his sons to drive us up straight from Kingston airport at... More

What a bad experience to stay in this guest house ... welcome really cold, big new house with expensive wood (same in Switzerland), Bobo rasta unpleasant, hooked to a big computer Apple, no smile, no discussion ... it's a place for a big business of coffe ! And for the end, no shower accessible and a little verbal fight because... More

So I've been to the Blue Mountain National Park last weekend and it was a great experience. I've been there many times before but never stayed at Jah B's guest house. The view from the balcony is great, the whole guess house was really clean, kitchen and bathrooms were exceptional! I went with a group of 16 persons and No one... More
