We met Free I earlier on our trip in Negril (West-Jamaica). He invited us on his guesthouse when we past the east of the Island. So we did. We expected the same average guesthouse as we have experienced in the west and the south. But believe me, we where all pleasand surprised on our arrivel in Zion Country. When we... More

Showed up here without a booking (not recommended) and luckily they managed to fit us in. Such a beautiful spot in a beautiful part of Jamaica. The staff were all lovely and it was easy to get to nearby beaches and attractions via route taxis for a small cost. If you stay here, definitely sign up for dinner - the... More

We stayed at the Zion Beach Cabins for 3 nights. We were looking to stay "off the beaten path" and experience the remote Jamaica. We had a great time at Zion! The views from our cabin were AMAZING and the gardens and property were absolutely beautiful. We definitely got to experience untouched Jamaica here, including the friendliness of the local... More

My friend and I stayed for 5 nights with Free-I and Owen back in November trying to escape the cold weather in Canada. It was just what the doctor ordered. Very relaxed, beautiful scenery and the trips with Free-I to the local beach and river walk up to Reach Falls with Rasta Renee were highlights of the trip. Great chat... More

We spent 5 days at Zion Country in July 2013, and we enjoyed it. It is a beautiful place and great surroundings. Especially, we enjoyed spending time with Owen (staff) who first of all made the best food we had in Jamaica. It was absolutely delicious. Also, Owen told us a lot about the local community and the jamaican life.... More

First the good: Beautiful settings, great gardens, cabins rustic but adequate (although not very clean), fantastic backdoor tour to Reach Falls, laid back atmosphere and Owen, the very friendly cook. The less good: We did not feel we were treated like guests but barely tolerated on the propriety. There was no possibility to get anything to drink or to eat... More

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't feel the right vibration in Zion Country. I never got the feeling that you was dissatisfied while you was staying in Zion Country. There is written on our web site that we only offer breakfast & diner and that there no snacks for sale on the property. We are finally a bed &... More

Hey Free-I, Owen and Tamara (staff), We enjoyed to stay at your place. Zion country is a small guesthouse with a big veranda, 4 huts and 1 big room. The garden is gorgeous and well-kept, thanks to Free-I botanic skills. This place looks beautifull, well-kept and the views from the main place are superb. Dutch man Free-I talked a lot... More
