I have to chime in. I've been going to Jamaica for 18 years now, and it seems to me that the people who are writing negative reviews want to vacation in Little-America Jamaica. Jamaica is fantastic because it's Jamaica; soon come and sticky and hot and inconvenient and goats barely bigger than cats... The MoonSan was nirvana. We stayed just... More

Excellent bed and breakfast! Our time here was truly the best time in Jamaica. The cozy, relaxed atmosphere goes hand in hand with the Jamaican vibe. Donna and Micheal almost became family during our stay at Moon San Villa. Donna prepares the best breakfast ever! Please try her french toast and scrambled eggs! Micheal came out with us one night... Ordinarily, I do not write reviews, but due to the genuine hospitality we were given during our stay at the Villa, I felt it necessary. Donna, the manager, met us when we arrived at the villa. She explained breakfast time, time for the boat ride, shopping ect. and all of our questions. Donna's cinnamon/french toastwas the best!!! And going to... More

We stayed at the Moon San Villa. Donna and David were lovely people who were so friendly and helpful to their guests. Donna made awesome breakfasts for us. The people that are saying that you could only have certain things on the menu obviously don't understand how things work in Jamaica. You have to ask for things a day or... More

balder, trash, and rubbish is what i say to those who've written so negatively about this Jewel. I took Laura and it was our first trip to Jamaica. From the get go Dave arranged our drive from Kingston to Portland w/ our wonderful driver, Mr. Clark. Michael greeted us warmly and of course, Donna, our wonderful cook. She is extremely... More

We stayed in the master bedroom. It was definitely not worth the extra money. The air conditioning worked for 1 of the 3 nights. There were ants all over the bathroom, and the hot water in the shower was only a trickle. There was construction going on nearby, and the workers could see into the room. They worked on weekends... The villa had failed to tell us that there is construction going on right in front of the villa blocking the view of the ocean. The construction workers can look right inside our room. The rooms are very small, including the master bedroom which is not even worth the money. The construction goes on everyday starting at 7:30am until 7:00pm... More

My wife and I stayed here in July '06 and it was without question one of the best lodging experiences we have ever had. The staff was friendly and attentive, Donna was there every morning to whip us up wonderful Caribbean breakfasts (the French Toast was the best) and Desmond was on hand day and night to help us plan... We arrived at the villa on Monday, April 16th and stayed for a week. My wife, two boys, and myself really enjoyed the villa. We felt relaxed from the minute we got in the door. Everything was taken care of; Dave took our luggage to our room; and Donna made us feel welcome. Donna's a great chef for the villa.... More
