You do not have to be a dedicated eco-tourist to enjoy the very sybaritic pleasures of Great Huts. All you have to do is accept that five star is pretty much the same the world over, and you want something different. Great Huts doesn't try to twang your concience about carbon footprint, and you don't have to be a warmed-over... more

Twilight misty dew sunlit describes a wonderful setting nestled ,brilliant with magnificent view that bends ,stretches, and touch the blue sky infrount your imagination of worm caribbean waters ,located on the eastern end of portland jamaica, known as the Great Huts. We know this is divine supreme work because it turns the physical universe upside-down,instead of feeling drained by the energy... more

We were looking for a relaxing uncommercialized place to get married and relax and that's exactly what we found. Great Huts is a unique place to stay, the staff was great, the huts were very clean and the locals very welcoming. Do bring bug spray and ear plugs because the locals love their dance halls which you should walk down... more

This place is amazing. The staff is so kind and will help you on any adventure you wish to take. The on-site beach in the bay allows for surfing, cliff jumping, swimming, or just kicking back. We stayed in a hut and also in the Sea Grape room, which was the most beautiful place we stayed in JA, and we... more

The only reason I'm reluctant to post a review is that it might make it more difficult to get a reservation next time! But to have as many people as possible know of how wonderful Great Huts is is the least that the owner and staff deserve. Our tree house was an extraordinary (literally, this place is anything but ordinary)... more

We stayed in the Bamboo Treehouse which was incredible, we felt like Tarzan and Jane. The most beautiful views from every angle. Staff very friendly almost like staying at a friends. Great food at the local jerk centre and beautiful surroundug beaches to explore. Better to stay at small places which inject cash back into local community than large resorts. more

We had a great time! The area was not very touristy, which I prefer. You do get the hard sale on the jerk and jewelry. The jerk was awesome though, we tried all of it. Best thing I ate in jamaica. We stayed in the Sea Grape Hut. There just couldn't be a better view day and night. There is... more

Thank you for your review, this aid in us receiving guests to our our small establishment. In regards to the bedding issue we normally have a comforter (blanket), top sheet and fitted sheet on the bed. Normally guests would use the top sheet which is placed directly under the blanket but sometimes is mistaken for the bottom sheet as it...
