I lived in Port Antonios harbor for over a year on a sailboat. Many days I would sit at Navy Island and look out onto the Caribbean and write in my journal. The place is majestic. However, when I left in 2003 it was guarded and no one was welcome. more
My husband & I stayed here on our honeymoon in 1996. We had rented a villa at the Blue Lagoon for the wedding & then transferred to Navy Island. We were for the most part the only guests. We stayed here twice and while it was not well kept (The government was running it under receivership), we loved having the entire island to ourselves. Let's hope someone takes it over and restores the island that Errol Flynn called home. more
