As a couple who have travelled the world, stayed in many five star chain hotels (most of them paid for by some-else), we are very spoilt. The Jamaica Palace Hotel was absolutely charming and provided a perfect balance between experiencing the Jamaican culture and being on a resort. While at the hotel we drove to Boston Beach, Port Antonio, the market, Frenchman's Cove, Trident Castle, Blue Lagoon and San San Beach with in 10-15 minutes. My husband, my two nieces and I stumbled on the Jamaica Palace Hotel on our drive around the island. The room was amazing,marble floors hugh curtains and a palace-like bathroom. Great place for breakfast. The pool was neat, the architecture interesting and the grounds were nice. The room was beautiful but had a slight musty smell.
