If you want a simple, clean and comfortable stay in Port Antonio with excellent service the Palace is an excellent option. IT is pretty close to the town and I thought the most outstanding part of my stay was the service and the willingness of the staff to try and help with any issue that I had. I would have... More

For starters, Portland is the most beautiful part of Jamaica - rain forest, beautiful beaches and mountain rivers. We stayed at the Jamaica Palace for one week, January 2013. From the moment we checked in, the staff at the JP made us feel at home and in good hands. Throughout our stay, we were ably assisted with event planning, hookups... More

AMAZING.. I stayed here as part of a tour of the island. As the tour bus cruised around the blue lagoon i was in mesmerised by this small fishing villiage. When we pulled up outside I was taken in by its grandness, marble floors, decadent decor, beautiful rooms that led onto a terrace. The roon was enormous, imaculate, beautiful. Exactly... More

On entering the property you feel as if you were alone, dont know if it was the time of year we visited. The atmosphere change when we were greated by the front desk receptionist who gave us a brief overview of the property and highlighted us on places we could visit during our stay, a very pleasant girl. Things got... More

Very grand looking place with lots of paintings and sculptures around it. As other visitors had mentioned, it did feel like we were they only ones staying there. Check in was easy, staff were friendly. We ate at the restaurant which was nice, bit pricing though. Room was clean and overall it was a good stay.

Stayed there once with my family when we lived in Jamaica 2006-2007. It looks very impressive from the outside, but the rooms are un-inspiring and dark. It's like being in a cage when you're inside. The mattresses were stone hard. I hardly slept at all that night. It's like this place pretends to be something it isn't. Only possitive thing... More

We booked through hotels.com and told that this hotel was on the waterfront.. Which it's not! Very large property so if you like privacy, this place is for you. We found the atmosphere a bit too creepy, felt like the twilight zone with all the strange art and the fact that it felt like no one els was staying there!... More

Was really excited to be travelling to this hotel on Boxing Day. The photos on the website looked amazing and, whilst the buildings are impressive and the setting in the lush greenery of Port Antonio is lovely, I have to say I was a tad disappointed. The reception staff were less than welcoming and unforthcoming with information (with the exception... More
