Staying at the Negril Escape Resort is a real Jamaican experience that allows you to become acquainted with the lovely people, fabulous food, and exquisite nature of this magical island. David and Janet Wallace provide an authentic journey in life on the cliffs of Negril. The resort is spacious, clean, and the view of the ocean and sunsets are unbeatable.... More

Where do I start? I live in the south and we all have heard of southern hospitality. Well South Carolina has nothing on the hospitality that was given on a daily basis from each and every staff member on site. I've never seen anything like this and I travel all over the world. What a beautiful piece of property great... More

Booked Negril Escape with an open mind after reading reviews. I usually stay at similar priced hotels, and stay in Negril 2-3 times per year at various hotels. Views here are incredible. Amazing sunsets. A well kept pool area with nice chairs, and free hot breakfast daily which is a bonus. Very quiet if you want complete peace and relaxation.... More

Came here on a yoga retreat and as some vacationers have mentioned you should not come here expecting a 5 star American Resort but rather a welcoming property with great friendly staff and breath taking views , especially the sunsets . The rooms are very clean and comfortable and if you have any issues and let management know they will... More

The Negril Escape is a great deal! It is reasonably priced, clean, extremely well-located, and a kind of cliff-side wonderland for those who want a mellow experience. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful for the week we were there. I appreciated the pleasant demeanor of this place! It definitely needs a bit of renovation work--the location is amazing, but it... What a great find! After finding the hotel that had been recommended to us was full we were not sure what we would do. Driving on into Nigril than through to the end we found Nigril Escape. The staff was great, the view was absolutely beautiful, and the rooms comfortable, even had hot water. Now if you are looking for... More

Overall I found the hotel to be clean but well worn to the point of being shabby. A good value if you want a place to sleep and hang out for short periods of time, The staff and the location are the best features here, The staff would do anything to help you in spite of their seemingly limited resources,... In it's day, this was probably more resort/ spa like. My impression was not assisted by my post dark arrival. I felt like I had traveled back in time to sleep away camp. The lodging is basically cabins in the woods with a pool. The kitchen/bar/restaurant is a separate cabin. Each cabin appears to have 4 separate rooms (2 upstairs... More

Initially we booked our rooms for 3 nights, then extended for 2 more days and after that still didn't want to leave and extended for 3 more nights. The staff was super friendly and the location was awesome. It didn't take any time to drive to the beach. If you need to use WIFI, you'll need to go to the... More
