After staying a week on seven mile beach (which I have on 5 different occasions), I decided I would try staying in the cliffs. I was getting tired of the beach hustlers on seven mile beach and was looking for some place quiet. I was in heaven once I was on this property. It is spacious with lots of little... More

Still trying to come back to reality. My father, friend and I travelled to Negril less than a month ago. We debated whether to stay there or not because there was not alot of info to be found, as it is not offered on alot of Canadian websites. This is what made me want to write a review. Our rooms... This place is exactly what we were looking for: -The villas are full of character with a sense of tranquility. My bed was so comfortable and I could see the sunset and ocean while laying on it. The room was cleaned daily and the maids are sweethearts. Our group loved all of the rooms we rented. - The staff who... More

Some reviews sound like the people expected the Riu Palace or something. That's not the kind of experience you come to a place like Negril Escape for. This place is comfortable but a touch rustic, and it has a lot more character for it. The thatch roofed bungalows with balconies facing the sea are true tropical Caribbean style, and the... More

This is my second year coming to the Negril Escape for a yoga vacation. This resort is the real deal with a taste of authentic Jamaica. Being a small resort in a third world country this resort doesn't have access to the abundance of water, power, etc that some of the other resorts have access to, however what this resort... More

If you don’t mind taking cold showers, laying on ant infested bed sheets, or an unreliable wifi internet connection, then Negril Escape and Resort is the place for you. The best thing about this “resort” is the complimentary breakfast and beautiful view of the water. Everything in the rooms are old and outdated; from the window curtains to the dressers.... More

Staying at the Negril Escape Resort is a real Jamaican experience that allows you to become acquainted with the lovely people, fabulous food, and exquisite nature of this magical island. David and Janet Wallace provide an authentic journey in life on the cliffs of Negril. The resort is spacious, clean, and the view of the ocean and sunsets are unbeatable.... More

Where do I start? I live in the south and we all have heard of southern hospitality. Well South Carolina has nothing on the hospitality that was given on a daily basis from each and every staff member on site. I've never seen anything like this and I travel all over the world. What a beautiful piece of property great... More

Booked Negril Escape with an open mind after reading reviews. I usually stay at similar priced hotels, and stay in Negril 2-3 times per year at various hotels. Views here are incredible. Amazing sunsets. A well kept pool area with nice chairs, and free hot breakfast daily which is a bonus. Very quiet if you want complete peace and relaxation.... More
