It was very surprising to find a cheap and authentic Jamaican stay at place like Negril. The cottage´s were similar to any other place in Jamaica and as we stayed in the cheapest option it was very basic (no private toilet, just a dark room)... My son and I spent 8 nights at JahB's. We stayed on one side of the double cottage near the restaurant. We had 2 beds. The room was basic but clean. No telephone or AC but we didn't miss either. I would highly recommend Jah B's for a modest no frills place to stay. Its definately not the "Ritz" but neither is the price. The cottages are very rustic and charming. The staff is friendly and very accomodating. Communication (email) before the trip was answered promptly (unusual for Jamaica) and with great detail and friendliness. Can't wait to go back... more
