Well usually do room only but took the AI option.............which was worth while..........having visited JA so often time to write the review. Service and staff generally very helpful at Merrils 1 you can also access the other Merrils 2 was also good has a pool however I didnt use it prefer the ocean......!. Room was clean, if a little dated.... more

**just got back from merrils 1 this morning and wow it was fantastic. it is a small family run hotel that treats you like one of the family and more, we stayed here for two weeks and will be going back we have been to the caribbean a number of times with our now four year old daughter but no... more

Merril's I is one of 3 Merril's Beach Resorts which are all directly at the famous 7-mile-beach of Negril. All 3 hotels are pretty much next to each other and booking into one means that you can use all the facilities of the other two hotels, which is handy. The Merril's Beach Resorts are 3*Hotels. My wife and I just got back from spending a wonderful week at Merrils Beach Resort I (03-28-04 to 04-04-04). This is a small scale resort that is big on service.
