We stayed at the Grand Pineapple in February 2014 with 10 other people, it was a very nice place. We stayed on the beach side, which was much better than the garden side. Our room was so close to the restaurant, bar and beach, which made it very easy to hook up with all our friends. Housekeeping was great, as... More

This place is a smaller unusual GEM. It is nestled on Negril s 7 mile beach. Its no Sandals even though its owned by Sandals however it worth its value . Small 2 level rooms , a little outdated but yet adequate. The grounds are basic but yet homely . . Dining area and bar are quite nice leading down... More

My brother and his fiancé planned a destination wedding at the Grand Pineapple, and we were there with a total of 27 people. I have a family of four, with two children ages 2 and 5. We could not have been more pleased! Our room was clean and in working order, we did pay a little extra for a Beach... More

We stayed at Grand Pineapple Resort from July 14-18 and I must say it is a nice, charming and smaller resort. From the moment we checked in, we were a little dissatisfied since we were suppose to stay on the beach side and not the garden side, but we ended up declining moving over the beach side once a room... Stayed here with my wife for 1 week. Beach is absolutely amazing, very serene, blue and warm waters. You can wade in about 200 feet and water is still just at waist level. Resort staff are very friendly, and food is tasty with a wide variety. You will find something you enjoy each meal time. Rooms are just okay, could... More

I traveled there July 12-July 17 with two other couples ( six of us in all). We were greeted by a nice pineapple and ginger drink by the front office staff. The grounds appeared to be well kept. We were not betting on a 5 star room when we arrived. The rooms could use remodeling. They are a bit outdated... More

This was our first time in Jamaica and definitely will not be our last! Cannot say enough about the friendly, courteous, helpful, energetic people of Jamaica. We took a trip with Rasta Lobsta and Pablo to Booby Cay island snorkeling. It was amazing. They made the trip a blast! The beach was beautiful. We never had to search for a... More

My Philippines Group 134 (1978-1980) has been having reunions every other summer in the Caribbean, accompanied by children (some now in their 3rd decade some still in middle school) and spouses. July 10-17, 2014 we returned to the Grand Pineapple, a Beaches resort in Negril, Jamaica. We don't look for fancy, luxury accommodations. What we want is a smallish, affordable... More

Just traveled 7/11-7/14. I came on here to read reviews prior to booking, actually after booking but in enough time to cancel. I wanted Beaches so I called the hotline to see if it was actually sold out and it was, so Sandals representatives recommended this property which they own. But please don't get confused like I did, transfers are... More

Thank you for your review, Kishaye. We appreciate you taking a moment to share your concerns with us and we were saddened to hear that we were unable to meet all of your expectations during your stay with us. I conveyed your concerns to the resort management team and they were so disappointed to learn that their efforts to assist... More

Once again the staff at GP Negril out did themselves. I miss it everyday. Can't wait to return to paradise. Yes the rooms are a little outdated but for how long I spend in my room, who cares....I only sleep a few hours then out to play all day! Everything in my room worked except the coffee pot and when...
