No screens in bedroom windows. Not much water and sometimes none at all. Electricity out a lot of times. We had a rat and cockroaches in the room. Rain on outside tiles are very slippery. Pool is not maintained properly. A lot of the workers and locals hang out at the hotel and ask for food and money all the... More

I have been meaning to write this review for a while. I stayed here the first week of Dec 2014. When the driver pulled up to this Jamaican "Bates Motel", I almost changed my mind and went to Treehouse for the night. We only needed to stay in this room for one night, it was $35USD, and it was almost... More

I am very sorry this was your experience. Many people who have stayed here over the years may have a very different description. Small hotels operates in different climate than bigger ones, we are more affected by prime and off season, maybe this was a factor that contributed to your sleepy description. Eddie's Tigress is well positioned small hotel, we... More

The fridge is outside your room, you will be relieved of its contents, I am biased because I stayed quite a long time at this place and even ended up on its tourist brochure at one point. However, there were critters biting and infecting us, ganja growing by the pool, a goat being killed by the pool and offered at... More

It is very sad that this review made this page. People are entitled to their views however this proves that some people pretty much say anything. I have no knowledge of what this supposedly guest is talking about. What knife, what chef, what goat. Which era was this? More

This was my first time going to Jamaica, it was a beautiful vacation. The people were so nice and treated me like I had known them my whole life. My room was in the house , it was like a Villa. I stayed at the Tigress Motel in a beautiful room. Ian and his family were fabulous! The men who... More

We were greeted by Ian one of the owners who took us up to our room and made us feel so welcome and happy to be there it was like going home. Our apartment that we rented was even more beautiful... My family and I have never been to Jamaica. Upon arriving at the resort, we were greeted in a special way. We were escorted to our rooms on the deluxe section....we loved our rooms. It is understandable that it is not a all-inclusive resort and so everything was not expected to be there. The staff were so friendly and helpful... More
