I have stayed at Foote Prints 5 times over a 4 year period, and although there is a need to refurbish the bar area. the hotel still has the same family atmosphere which I look for on holiday ( a home from home with spectacular views). Where else in the world could you be on the beach within 10 steps... more

Best location on the beach and good value for money. Staff very friendly and made us feel part of the family. Small size meant the staff looked out for your safety, especially Andi (the fixer).Local people very friendly too: look out for Narnie a rasta who is cool. Also Sharon gives the best massage and hair weaves. Did not feel... more

I recently experienced my first trip to Jamaica. My trip was a 4 night guys getaway on a budget. We chose Foote Prints for the price. We were a little worried after reading some reviews. You must realize that you are not paying for The Ritz so don't expect it. We wanted a clean, safe room near the beach and... more

I went with another friend. We stayed from March 22-26th. From the start we were pleasantly surprised to get an upgraded room overlooking the beach. This was the best view(thanks Moorisha). I don't know about other people, but when I vacation I just use the room to sleep in. I don't spend a lot of time in their. The room... more

Call it the old "BAIT AND SWITCH." Stayed there four years ago and it was okay, mainly because I know half of Negril after 15 years of vacationing there 2 times a year, however, the management is apparently pocketing most of the revenue and as such, the hotel is now officially a DUMP. I got stuck in a room not... more

If you desire a more authentic experience in Jamaican Foote Prints is the place to stay, the staff is, friendly, they can include breakfast in your rate. There are plenty of options around on the beach or in Negril for dining options. The cool spot across the street is a taste of real Jamaican cuisine and significantly cheaper prices for... more

My husband and I and our two teen children went to Negril for 9 nights and 10 days last December. We decided to spend our first night at Foote Prints in the Sands and then go to a much larger resort for the remainder of the vacation. We had been to Negril twice before and we had walked past Foote... more

After a trek down a dark corridor, we entered into a dreary room lacking a doorknob - a series of deadbolt locks were the security. The bathroom lacked towel hangers, and the tub had no grab bars. Aesthetically, the room lacked charm, certainly not what we were expecting. The Hotel also charges per diem for the room safe, and an... more

I stayed in Foote prints this summer of 2008 and have also stayed there last year in 2007. Overall if you are looking for a cheap hotel in Negril that is close to the beach and Negril's attractions, this is a good hotel. The rooms are decent, nothing fancy, and clean. I must note however that there were a lot... more

I stayed with my family (my wife and our 3 small children). This was supposed to be a 2 weeks vacation but i had to cut it short. On the first night i was placed in a room that was totally unacceptable. It was too small, not what I requested and everything looked and smell old. I requested and was... more
