Banana Shout is a great little place. It has the best views I've ever seen... I will be honest about what to expect: 1) It is a small, quiet, 5 cottage B&B. There is no TV, so be prepaired to enjoy relaxation from the rest of the world. 2) You will get a clean room and view. If you are... more

Soooooooo this review is long overdue..I was trying to wait until I posted the pictures, but this can't wait! Soo I was looking for a place that was not resort-sy on the cliff end of Negril with a beautiful view. I happened across Banana Shout. Now I wasn't sure what to expect, so I emailed Milo and Shadae (the owners)... more

I have stayed at the Banana Shout for 7 years in a row now and I highly recommend it. Outside of the gates is the real Jamaica and inside is the paradise. You can get anything you want or need and the Sea there is so beautiful, you will never need a TV Set, if you do, you might as... more

We saw this B&B on tripadvisor and we really liked the idea of staying on the cliffs in a more rustic place.....after trying it however I have to agree with the review by Choochy 420. We were hoping for quiet place away from the hustle and noise of Negril and this place WASN'T it... We booked for two nights at... more

I initially booked ten days at Banana Shout, but I ended up staying there for 3 weeks!!! And after the 3 weeks, I was sooo sad to move out! Banana Shout is one of those places where you feel like you’re staying at a friend’s vacation home rather than a hotel. The owners, Milo and Shadae, were so hospitable and... more

We took a tip from our neighbor who met Milo last winter. Wow am I glad we did. We have traveled to Negril for 5 years and usually stay at one of the small places on the beach. This time we split our time and spent 6 nights on the cliff. The vibe on the cliffs is different than on... more

One of the best places we have visited! The cottages were nicely decorated and clean, the staff was helpfull and friendly - we love Plug and Milo- and the resort is located at the best place of Negril, not far away from the beach but at a nice and fairly quiet area! The lunch cooked by Milo was perfect and... more

I did not care for Banana Shout. The gardner and housekeeper were very nice but the owner wasn't around much and didn't seem to care if we were happy or not. The property is very hot because of walls on either side of the property blocking the breeze. Add that to the power outages all of the time, and with... more

During the summer jamaica got hit from Hurricane Gustav. The property was damaged very bad and in the month of October the Hotel was getting refurnish and the damages got fixed. The bar was CLOSED and we were able to just offer coffee. The cottages were in good conditions and all the fan working. It is true that we did...

We went to Negril to attend a wedding. Our original accomodation fell through. Banana Shout had availability and was close by. We had originally planned to stay there for one night. But Banana Shout, Milo and Sade, were so wonderful that we decided to stay through the duration of our stay. They were so helpful--the airline lost our luggage; and... more

If you want to go to a place to just relax and enjoy the most spectacular view (with dolphins), with the best weather, peaceful accommodations, staff, food, scenery.....(I could go on.....) and just do your own thing; Banana Shout is the perfect place to go. The grounds are beautiful, (thanks to Plug), private and tranquil. All the cottages, especially the seaside... more
