My wife and I spent August 17-24 at this resort. We would like to send a very big thank you to the staff that made this holiday so wonderful.Your constant smiles and laughter kept us believing that Jamaica is the place to be. We did have a few minor issues about our room for instance the plumbing needed work done... More

Subject: Grand Lido Negril Location: Negril, Westmoreland Parish, Jamaica, Caribbean, North America Stayed there: July 23, 2014 to July 30th. After an almost 2 hour bus ride from the airport, we arrived to be led to the front desk. I soon realized was the hottest area of the resort with NO working fans, just HOT stifling STILL air and then... More

I can't say I honestly enjoyed my stay at this resort. I really wanted to. It has so much going for it: A beautiful beach, talented and friendly staff, tasty food, cool amenities. However, Too many things went wrong during my stay. The worst of the worst was getting HIT ON THE HEAD by a Tree limb that was cut... More

My husband, myself and another couple stayed at the Grand Lido last week. We simply had the best vacation ever! We stayed in the presidential suite which came with a few upgrades. While the hotel needs some remodeling (which we heard is suppose to happen starting next year), it has The BEST location in Negril. The hotel spans across much... More

Grand Lido has an amazing beach. There are plenty of chairs, and a fair amount of trees which provide shade if you don't want to burn to a crisp. The beach is white, sandy and beautiful, with a great swim area. The bar on the beach is always super fun and makes great drinks. Additionally, you can kayak, paddle board,... More

My boyfriend and I just returned from the Grand Ledo Negril. We had a great time, the beach was the best part. The water was beautiful, warm, and the sand was so soft on the feet. The food was good, and the resort was clean and nice. Although the resort was at only 50% capacity when were there, the service... More

We just spent the week of August 17th-24th, 2014 at the Grand Lido Negril. Overall we had a good time, however we're very laid back. Remember this hotel is about a 2h bus ride from the airport. The good: - The food was great, our favourite was the Olives restaurant, the chicken souvlaki is awesome. The buffet restaurant was great... More

The food was so good. I am on a wheat free diet and had no issues. I really had nothing bad to say about the food or the great service they provided. The beach was so nice .There were two beaches. My pet peeve was the CO beach. If you are going to go to a nude beach go nude.... More

I have absolutely nothing to complain about. The food was reallty good. Between the excellent buffet and 3 restaurants to choose from, I was very pleased with the over all quality and variety. Our room was on the ground level, facing the beach. The room was clean, a little outdated, but bathroom, shower area was very spacious. They did have... More

My wife and I got married here 4 years ago and fell in love with the place. We decided to return and tried to with open minds. We arrived to simple amenities that now included up charges and food that honestly took a turn for the worse. We understand the difficulty of getting good cuisine imported but that doesn't mean...
