A smaller hotel located on an excellent section of the Negril Beach. Clean and spacey rooms with fridge, coffee maker and toaster, good size bathroom, lots of hot water. Excellent staff. Restaurant is OK with good service and many other eating spots within easy walking distance on the beach.

I went to Jamaica for a week and spent most of my time in Montego Bay, but I couldn't stay away from my favorite area Negril! I had to steal away for a bit and so I spent two days at Sea Wind, which is my fourth time staying here. It has the best view of the ocean and it's... More

I went in May with a group (5 total) of friends. Next time I will exchange all my USD for Jamaican dollars. It was a totally hassle using credit cards and US Cash. The exchange is easy to figure out $1usd=$100jd so you can budget easily. Plan to Tip for everything...food, excursions, cleaning lady, any service whatsoever. We rented the... More

This was my second time staying at Sea Wind and I'm pretty sure there will be a third. The staff is very friendly and all the people that still worked there during my first stay in 2011 remembered me. The hotel is right on the beach and the lifeguard will get you set up on the beach so that you... More

Second time at the Sea Wind and had an excellent time. Travelled with two young boys and they loved the white sand beach, the gentle waters and did not desire anything more. The staff was great as usual (Shelly Ann, Janelle, Romario, Big Bird to mention a few). Food, drinks, entertainment and rooms were great. Negril (7 Mile beach) is... More

Liked: - Very friendly hotel staff - Proximity to the beach (you're pretty much ON the beach) - Great restaurant on site - Extremely relaxed atmosphere. Didn't get the same feeling when vacationing in Cancun or Punta Cana Disliked: - Hotel's email was down for weeks. Turned out hotel never received our reservation info from the travel agency - Can... Such a shame, we used to love this place, but the services have gone downhill and there is poor security. We were robbed in our room (while we were in it, sleeping). Granted, we were given free nights as compensation, but never felt completely comfortable. The last time we were there, our rental car was vandalized in their parking lot... More

Good afternoon Ms. Renee B, It was indeed regrettable that having responded to your letter with regard to the alleged "vandalism" in Sea Wind's car park on your last visit, you have chosen this medium for final resolution. As I opined in my e-mail response, the resort under it's new management could not have accepted liability of your "scratched", rental... More

Firstly, let me start by saying that the staff at Sea Wind are wonderful, friendly and accommodating. My family & I stayed there for 4 nights Feb 2014. The hotel rooms are nice and clean, housekeeping keeps up with cleaning, so no complaints there. As far as ambiance goes, the music is just too noisy, the kitchen staff talks very... More

This was our first time in Jamaica and we’re happy we chose Sea Wind in Negril. We stayed for one week mid-Feb and wished it was more. The hotel sits just a few feet away from the amazing 7-mile beach with sunsets to die for… We had a room on the second floor with kitchenette and a big balcony (shared... More
