I lived in Jamaica for 26 months and have stayed at many hotels in Jamaica and the Casablanca is hands down my favorite! It's not the most luxurious hotel Jamaica has to offer but it does have the most character. The beds are stiff and hot water isn't dependable but it's perfect for a romantic getaway. Our deck in room... More

ok - second time, about a year apart, same feeling as before - great location. good people working there and owners are a trip. the beds are incredibly hard, king size, but the rooms are clean for the most part - sometimes you have hot water, the balconies are large with chairs and a small table, great activity viewing from... No credit cards, no internet, no working pool,. too much street noise, hot water only at certain times. Beaches are private and CB's beach opened at 830am, entrance one block down through Doctor's Cave Beach Club. No early morning beach run or walk. Beach strip is small, and quickly fills with jet ski's and boats. so no serenity. no beach.... More

If your looking for a 5 star American Hotel then this is not for you. However if you are looking for something nostalgic, romantic, beautiful and a look at Jamaica outside of the all inclusive resorts. This hotel is vintage and very interesting with alot of history. I loved the hardwood floors and balcony right on top of the ocean.... More

I stayed at the Casablanca Beach Hotel in March 1993, when my husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. We had a massive room and an equally massive balcony right over the sea - it was idyllic. We loved the food, the staff and the attention we received and couldnt fault it at all. What a shame the hotel... More

We stayed at the Casablanca just a few days ago (January 4-11, 2008 )so I have up to date news about it. The Casablanca is the oldest hotel on the Hip Strip, and you can literally feel the history of the place soak into you. Our room was fairly standard, but it had a huge bed, working shower, hot water,... More

This place used to be nice MANY years ago, probably a very elegant place back in the day. Unless you don't mind staying at a Motel 6 then you might be ok staying here. Service was horrible. They only accept cash, which we were not told and had to walk down the street to the ATM. The restaurant was never... More

The Casa Blanca is the best location in Montego Bay. The hotel is undergoing slow refurbishing but has huge rooms and is very elegant, but a little run down. Grand entry way with marble floors. Attached resturant, with over the sea dinnig, is very elegant and affordable. We had a huge room with a huge balcony, overlooking the sea, #8... More

Okay let me have a shot at this. I agree with the "decaying grandure" comment, but it is good enough. For $140 a night we had a large room with a 4 poster king size bed and a shaded balcony with nothing in front of us other than Cuba over 90 miles of open ocean. The bed and dresser appear... More

Well, I must agree with a previous post that said the hotel is not what it was - once upon a time, it was really a grand old place right on the sea for whites only. Dear oh dear. I must say the management was clearly not aware that they are not all that any more, because my three white... More
