I just returned from a 8 days stay at the Holiday Inn Sunspree (July 6th through July 13th) and I must say that I got more than I paid for. No where in North America or Europe will you be able to pay this amount of money and have a nice room, three meals (plus almost 24 hour beach grill)... more

My wife and I came back from Mo Bay while staying at the Sunspree, and we had an amazing time! We knew what we were getting ourselves into when we booked the Holiday Inn, so we knew what to expect. The hotel is what it is. The food was ok, but the jerk chicken stand right on the beach was... more

My mother and I came for a wedding at the lovely Half Moon resort about a quarter of a mile away. After the first night at Sunspree, we maneuvered to spend all but our sleeping hours (and a good portion of those) at Half Moon, which we were able to do easily. From the get-go, we were part of one... more

My husband and I cashed in priority club points and stayed here free of charge for 3 nights at the end of a Jamaican vacation in early July....we were worried at first (as we have no kids and normally go to adult only resorts), but we had a very good time! Really only noticed the kids at the breakfast buffet-... more

We were there in June/July for almost 2 weeks with a 5 year old and had a great time. We have been to Jamaica maybe 10 or so times and have always stayed in Negril but with a 5 yo decided to go the all inclusive route this time and try MoBay which was a good decision. In all our... more

After we booked our all inclusive trip, we began hearing how we need to be extra careful; & for our personal safety don't leave the resort. Had I listened, I would have missed out on the best of Jamaica. The resort is beautiful (renovations in affect) you can stay there during your entire vacation & have access to everything you... more

You know, I'm always surprised when I read reviews on this site. Every time, there are negative reviews about the place I stay . . . and they only serve to prepare me for the worst, which makes me appreciate what I get when I'm there even more. No, this is not a luxury resort. If you want posh luxury... more

My trip was in November, but I forgot to write the review. The drive from the airport is a short one, which is nice compared to other places I've been to. Check in was a breeze and the staff was polite - but nothing over the top. They don't accept your tips, so if you get "all inclusive" it really... more

We stayed at the Sunspree for a week in mid-May. I absolutely recommend this resort to anyone that wants a peaceful getaway for a great value. Keep in mind that it is not a five star resort, and you are not paying five star prices. In my opinion it is a solid three star, with amenities one would typically associate... more

Don't go here if you're looking for a relaxing vacation OR if you want to swim in the ocean. Their "ocean" is a swampy lagoon that's about 85 degrees and 2 feet deep at the most. Luckily, we were only staying at the hotel for a day on our way to Curacao (which was wonderful, by the way). If you... more
