Bethel Court was a phenominal experience. It felt like I went home to visit family. Steve made sure that we got the ins and outs on what to do and see the very moment we walked through the well kept quarters. Our driver, who became a great friend was a gift and a blessing to me, and his "no problem... More

My fiancee and I stayed here over the Valentine's Day weekend. The directions given by the owner to get to the location were complicated and misleading...it was as though he was not very familiar with the town and we had to stop and ask several people for the proper directions along the way until we located the place (almost took... Here at Bethel Court Guesthouse we get mostly young people who are here to party, go on tours and have a good time. This was a older guest who was looking for a quite place. 90 percent of our guest are young people between the age of 18 and 35 who are looking to meet other young people to see... More

As a single traveller I was looked after and given local knowledge to make me safe. The hostel staff organised tours, took us out, introduced us to their families and generally gave me an experience which I would not have got in a hotel on the beach. Thank you Bethel Court for showing me the real Jamaica and ensuring a... More

Great hostel for those backpacking on a budget, and who want to meet others and have a bit of a party. Really clean and well run place, with free internet / wi-fi, very sociable staff members and a welcoming atmosphere. Lots of recommendations and capacity to arrange trips and tours. Dorms are particularly good value for money - I stayed... More

The owner Steve is such a wonderful man. He genuinely cares about every traveller who comes to his hostel and about how good their stay is. As for the hostel... it is cleaned every day, the beds are comfy, it´s just a 1 dollar taxi ride to downtown, it´s a great place for meeting people, and there are staff and... More

Although you must take a cab to get to the beach/town (only about 1us dollar) the guesthouse Is the most accomodating place we stayed at in Jamaica. Steve, the owner, is awesome and Richard took us aroud town until we felt comfortable to do it ourselves (we were 2 20 year old girls) the tours that are offered though the... More

This was my first time to Jamaica and the staff at Bethel court went out of their way to make sure that my trip was a very memorable one. I found their knowledge and advise about local beaches, tours and neighborhoods to be accurate and reliable.

Met up with fellow solo travellers at the Guest House and enjoyed going out together. Rooms were clean and spacious - good value for money budget accommodation.

We booked this guest house online after reading the many good reviews, and seeing that free airport pick up was offered. My wife and I were picked up at the airport by a driver called Patric, who took us to a supermarket and then ATM on the way to the guest house. Frequently updating somebody via mobile phone of his...
