Stayed in Room B105 early April '09. I had very high hopes for this hotel, given that it has a fairly high TripAdvisor rating for the asking price. I find myself echoing the previous reviewer who stayed in Room B305. First off, we arrived about 12:30 p.m., dead tired because we live in the US Pacific Northwest, and MoBay is... more

My family and I have flown in and out of Montego Bay several times but rarely stay there more than a night to catch a flight out the next day. It was great to discover a location so close to Doctor's Cave Beach and also have the convenience of being walking distance from many stores and restaurants including the Jamaican... more

I have read the reviews of some travelers and I am not sure what they are expecting from an accommodation that is rated 3*. I personally believe that El Greco service is above three 3*. If visitors are looking for high-end luxury then pay the money and stay at places such as Breezes or the Sandals outlets. El Greco is... more

We stayed in B305 for 8 days. 4 adults. It was very roomy. Downstairs had the kitchen, dining room/living room, bathroom. The balcony was small but thats ok because we just opened the french doors and sat in the living room. Upstars had 2 large bedrooms each with its own bathroom. I wish they had AC on the first floor,... more

My husband & I came upon this place by mistake. We were booked to go to the Casa Blanca beach club to re-visit our honeymoon BUT, they closed for refurbishment without bothering to let us know!! Anyway - we were VERY pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and efficient. It was our wedding anniversary while we were there & they... more

Two weeks ago, my girlfriend and I spent 5 nights at El Greco Resort in Montego Bay. While it had a few positives, it has its fair share of negatives as well. Being new to Jamaica on a whole, we chose this particular spot because we were looking for somewhere reasonably priced and due to being located near the famous... more

This was my first trip to Jamaica and having had a bad experience at an all-inclusive in Cuba last year, I decided to try this format. Although the El Greco is an older resort, the room was quite adequate. We enjoyed having the kitchen and sitting area, even though they are not air conditioned. The fan and open shutters kept... more

If you're looking for luxury then El Greco is not for you, but if you're on a budget and you want to be right where the action is in Montego Bay then this is the place for you. It's less than 10 minutes from the airport and has an elevator that takes you right to the 'hip strip' . My... more

I spent 10 days staying at the El Greco hotel. After reading several of the reviews on this website and others I was extremely nervous about our arrival. However, I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We were greated kindly and received good service. There is a $60 required deposit -- you will be surprised by this if you didn't... more

My finace and I were given tickets to Jamaica for a graduation present and were on a tight budget, so we chose the El Greco. We really enjoyed our stay here. The resort is very limited to what you can do. There is one swimming pool, 1 restaurant , and 1 tenis court. So, needless to say, not alot to... more
