stayed at this hotel for two nights. Found it to be just as we exected, junior suite overlooking beach was good, service levels very high, amenities very good. Management very welcoming, overall a good place for a short break holiday, but just one glitch, the food in the main restaurant in the evening. I am afraid this was not inspiring,... More

My wife and I just came back from our honeymoon at Coyaba . I booked Coyaba based on the reviews I read on this very website. After staying at the hotel for 3 nights I am COMPLETELY confused (we were in Negril at the Rock House for 4 nights before, one of the most beautiful hotels and places on earth,... More

I have never stayed in a resort where the staff was so accomodating and friendly. They greeted you with a nice cold bottle of water set in a beautiful basket but most of all the big welcoming smile. We happened to be there for Super Bowl and the Polo Lounge upstairs went out of thier way to make it a... More

Yes this is a nice hotel, but the fact that it appears in the small and luxurious hotels of the world book needs to be reassessed! I found the staff on the whole to be quite rude, unhelpful and unaccomodating. Everything seems like too much trouble and non-acknowledgement is commonplace. They have a SYSTEM and if you mess with that,... More

My favorite hotel in Montego Bay - actually in Jamaica. Friendly service, service, service! We have stayed a few times and each time its better than ever - even when the weather was not. I took a group of 26 people and for the first time ever "not one complaint" - that never happens. The small size make this the... More

My fiance and I stayed here our last night in Jamaica. The staff was marginal. When we checked in, they insisted we had some sort of voucher. When it was shown to be the mistake of the front desk, they did not apologize. The hotel is very nicely furnished with dark woods, but the T.V. was a little old. The... More

My husband and I stayed at Coyaba over Thanksgiving weekend. Expedia.com was running a special (pay for four nights, get the 5th free), which cut the cost down to about $320 per night for the all-inclusive (AI) package. AI is a good deal when you consider the cost of the drinks and food. For what we paid, we were very... More

Absolutely agree with the previous comment. Furthermore this resort is located on the pond side, not on the ocean side. It might be a good place for fishing, but not for swimming. After visiting this hotel we are puzzled... "Small Luxury Hotel"?

We are 31 yrs old. We traveled to Coyaba for our honeymoon on a deal I found on Travelocity. First off Coyaba is very close to the MBJ airport. So an occasional airplane overhead is not uncommon. When we arrived our room wasn’t ready with the “special” preparations I had requested, so we headed to the bar to eat our... More
