Just returned from an amazing stay at Coyaba Beach. The hotel was just as we'd imagined and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is very peaceful, which as a couple suited us fine. It's a bit strange at first having to sign for all your meals and drinks, rather than the usual all inclusive wristband, but you... There are boats that go between the beach and the reef rather than the open sea. If some reduces their speed, others pass without worrying about swimmers. Underwater, you hear the engine sounds only at the last minute because of the waves that batter the reef. There is a real danger. We have experienced it! A fishing boat passed over... More

Even though I stayed in this hotel nearly a year ago, I had to write a review to sing its praises! I've been fortunate enough to stay in many hotels of all shapes, sizes and ratings but this is one of my absolute favorites. If you're looking for a massive all inclusive resort then don't stay here - one of... More

The hotel is nicely situated, the rooms well appointed, clean and the amenities beachside as expected. What was poor: very few choices on the menue for dinner and especially the attitude of the waiters. They looked at you and didnt react. As though it was under their pride to service you. And in the morning it took them ages to... More

Stayed here in August 2014. Was originally in 110 in the main building with a rather drab view and noisy airco and asked to upgrade. They had a sea view room on the ground floor room 305 that was really top. It felt like my own private beachfront apartment and was well worth it. This hotel is small, only 50... More

I stayed at Coyaba the end of August for one night. This is the 2nd time I've been to this hotel as the first time was about 5 years ago. Nothing much as changed and that's not a bad thing. The hotel is a good spot if you are not looking for the hustle and bustle of your normal resort.... More

If you are looking for a small, quiet 'resort', then this is the place for you! This resort is not for the lively, partying bunch at all! Be aware, that this quaint resort has no elevators. If walking up stairs will be a problem for you, then don't stay here. I stayed in a junior ocean view suite. Wonderful! Nice... More

I enjoyed my stay at the Coyaba Beach Resort, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly and treated us like family, my room was comfortable and easy access to the calming beach on the property. Very quite, relaxing and calming

Usual 3 day/2 night stay whilst on business. Check-in was swift with a cold flannel and fruit punch. Room was amazing as expected from previous reviews. Food was substandard... A shame because this what let's anyone down.. Food in my eyes are a key component to any holiday. Small friendly hotel with friendly staff.
