We traveled to Coyaba 4/4/09-4/11/09 and hope to return to experience this wonderful resort again. The room and grounds were beautiful and kept immaculate, the staff warm and friendly, the food very good to exceptional (dinner meals were unbelievable), and the pool and beach clean and well kept. The resort had a play area for kids which was a welcome... more

We stayed at Coyaba on our last night in Jamaica after staying at a much more intimate and secluded resort for the previous 7 nights. While there was nothing really wrong with Coyaba, and it was a nice hotel, it didn't compare to the overall experience we'd had the week prior. The room we stayed in, sea view suite I... more

I stayed at the coyaba because i was attending a wedding that was held within the hotel. As a result, i didn't consider other hotels. Unfortunately, i found that the service had a 'soon come' approach about it. The hotel staff, although polite your obvoiously not paid according to the pace at which they worked. We found that we had to... more

Attended a wedding at this smallish resort on the beach...we had less than 100 guests. The enitire hotel and staff performed magnificently, providing an all-around GREAT experience for just about our entire crew (tho I speak not for anyone else directly), but judging from my 30+ years experience in F&B, these folks give the 'Jamaican Experience' on the beach an... more

Thank you Cobaya staff for making this trip more special than we ever imagined. I'll start with the resort itself: It's literally 5 minutes from the airport, but the airport itself does not get in the way of the peace and tranquillity of the resort (we originally thought it might)...it's next to Sandals resort, and is a piece of heaven.... more

This was our 2nd visit to Coyaba. Again the staff and the beautiful resort cast its magic on us and made our 2nd annual visit a fabulous time. Peaceful, beautiful and staffed by the most wonderful people in Jamaica. Our room, a Jr Suite, was immaculate again. The food, we take the all-inclusive option, was very very good. We spent... more

This was our first time at Coyaba and will not be our last. The resort is a short trip from the airport about 10 minutes and when you arrive it is lovely. The grounds, restaurants and rooms are extremely clean and well kept. We had a beach front junior suite and it was great. We opted for the all inclusive... more

For the second consecutive year we have spent our winter vacation at Coyaba, a beautifully designed yet un-fussy treasure spot in Montego Bay. There are only 50 units so intimacy and lots of personal attention are assured. Accommodations are superb. We requested and were given the same room as last year. While Coyaba's is not a night club atmosphere (a... more

We just got back from a nine-day vacation at Coyaba. This was our third Jamaica trip, and we wanted to avoid the long drive that we endured when we visited Ocho Rios. Tripadvisor reviews sold us on Coyaba which was a short taxi ride from the airport. This resort was everything we hoped for—outstanding service, a beautiful oceanview room, a... more

Wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at Coyaba. Weather was perfect, beach is pristine, place is immaculate, staff are overly accomodating, Alex (Mgr) is excellent, food was okay but waaaay overpriced, room was very nice, activities are very weak, but Sonia will gladly find you something to do if you're bored. There's free WiFi, but I didn't take along... more
