My sister, her partner and I along with my two nephews aged 10 and 7 stayed at the Mayfair Hotel for two weeks. I must say it was pleasurable and the pool area was tremendous i got a tan for the first time ever at the poolside of the Mayfair. Apart from the rooms needing a bit of a upgrade... more

I travel to jamaica every year to cover Rally Jamaica. This is the 2nd year I stayed at the Mayfair. This time I had a very horrible experience, I woke up on the final day to realise that my two Production cameras, a laptop and two cell phones were stolen from my room while I was asleep. A subsequent inspection... more

My boyfriend booked the hotel for me, because i have not been to Jamaica in 13 years, so when i got to the hotel the only problem i had was the dogs barked all night, and the room was too close to the front door, maybe they should have a grill or something more safety, but overall i liked it.... more

Well we arrived in Kingston in the middle of the cricket tournament and not a lot of places had available rooms. Therefore, my husband booked here. I tend to be slightly picky with the rooms so my husband said the man had a suite available. When you pull up on the property it looks really nice. It's in a great... more

I travelled with a large party requiring at least four rooms at Mayfair. More than half of the air conditioners were not working; the rooms, including the bathrooms, were not clean (floors and table/countertops); there were droppings on the toilet; there were spiders in the closets and cupboards; two of the rooms ran out of water while people were still... more

This hotel was recommended to me by a friend. It's location is perfect and the hotel is comfy. I enjoyed my stay there and would definitely go back. I stayed only for 1 day. Brenda (Front desk) was very pleasant and ensured that we were placed in the best room. It felt like home away from home. more

My Husband is from Jamaica and he haven't been home in 3-years. So we decided to look on the net and found this Beautiful Hotel!! But when we reached there it was a hole different ball-game. The rooms was not up to stander's and the prices for everything was high. The only good thing we can say about this place... more

I have stayed at the Mayfair many times. I love the location as the mountain view is superb and the pool is clean and large. I prefer a room over the bar near the pool. New Japanese Restaurant is EXCELLENT! The service was "top shelf". more

I stayed at the Mayfair for a week during my visit to Jamaica. It was the most relaxing time of my life. The hotel is apparently under new ownership and new managment. They have an excelent Japanese restaurant, English pub, and Jamaican style restaurant. The entire Property offers a wireless internet connecion and the people are extremley curteous. I was... more
