This place has potential .... That being said ... Here is the reality. There is no beach at the hotel. There is a "salt water area" enclosed in a cement frame. No one uses it. The pool was green. No one uses it. The rooms ( we were in 117) we're clean and large ... But ours had only one... More

I don't know if you know this before going to Kingston, Jamaica, but it has one of the highest murder rates in the world. Downtown Kingston is a death trap and it scared me senseless driving through it. At least in port royal, there is a closer distance to the airport. The hotel itself is in a decent location (far... It is the best option to just overnight nearby the airport. The property is big and has gardens with sea view, but the facilities and rooms are very old. The furniture and bathrooms are old. The services is very nice (one of the nicest I could find in Jamaica), but extremely, extremely, extremely slow at breakfast.

I went to the restaurant to celebrate Father's Day with my family. They had a brunch buffet which consisted of local cuisine such as curried mutton, jerk pork, roasted chicken, rice and peas, oxtail, ackee and saltfish etc. The cost of the buffet was $3500 JMD per person which is roughly $32 USD per person. The food tasted great and... More

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary on 26 May. We decided to give this place a try although I was more interested in staying in New Kingston. Before we arrive my husband knows friends in this area so we called ourselves making sure this wasn't one of those 3-4 hour sex hotels where you pay for a... More

This lovely hotel sits in the charming and historic town of Port Royal. Having been to many places in Jamaica and around the world I can truly say I never was able to duplicate the feeling I get here. It's just so unique, across the harbor from Kingston but worlds away from the noise and hustle, a sleepy old charm... More

First off this is a bit of an older establishment. You could definitely tell that this was at one time a very happening place. That being said it has fallen on hard times. While it is old, you could tell that the staff tried to keep things clean and in working order. That being said, don't even think about using... More

Recently, i happened to check in at Morgans Harbour, port royal for just a day. Its the ideal hotel to stay in if u gotta catch an early morning flight at norman manley international airport. Though the place was quite deserted, the hotel staff was very friendly. Rooms were not upto date when it came to the amount they charged.... More

I can honestly say I have never stayed in a hotel like this. Our room wasn't ready till 4.30pm (check in was from 3) which is strange, as the hotel seemed to be almost empty. The pool looked really dirty, so we didn't want to use it, the girl on reception when we arrived was obviously very unhappy, although to... More

This is simply the worst hotel possible. Dirty dilapidated rooms, inedible food that is both cold and late (that takes skill). Electric often off, water often off. No hot water. sleep under a bush it will be better.
