Exterior of hotel is noce, grounds well maintained, sufficient parking, nice tropical look and feel. You do feel secure, the New Kingston area is not bad. Pegagsus, Courtleigh are within a stone's throw. I will never stay here again. I am due back in Feb 2010 and I am currently looking at other options Suprise: At check-in, my rate that... more

Staff is friendly - no complaints about them. Accomodation is severely lacking - please see my photos to have some idea of what you are dealing with. Food is average, Jamaican night was edible, Carribean not so much. No choice of a la carte dining - purely buffet or pub fare. Area (not the fault of hotel) is not particularly... more

The Hilton Kingston is a reasonably attractive hotel on the surface. The lobby is modern, large and nice and the pool area is pretty. There is a large kareoke on a Friday night which is entertaining and well attended. However, that is where the nice comments end. The rooms are incredibly poor and not what you would expect from the... more

The chair in my room broke when I sat on it. They charged me $240 when I could have booked on Hilton's site for $170 more

This Hilton was horrible. The lobby is misleading, the rooms are musty and mildwey. I have asthma and allergies and could not sleep. Thankfully I only had to spend 2 nights in Kingston. more

I too read very negative reviews on here of this hotel. As previously mentioned, if you need to stay on this part of the island for business your options are quite limited. I believe they have renovated certain areas of the hotel as the lobby was fine, and not the horror-show that was described in earlier reviews. I had a... more

You could hear the guy in the next room sigh. The pool was dirty, as was my ancient bathroom. Third world accomodations at a New York price. more

The room I got was in need of renovations, especially the bathroom. Beds were not up to the standard I would expect from a Hilton hotel ; there were two single beds with very basic mattresses. For what I got, I would have expected to have paid 1/2 of the rate. Staff were nice, but this hotel definitely drags down... more

Before I went to Kingston I read some of the reviews on trip advisor about this hotel and I did have reservations about staying here. It was prebooked by people we were visiting in Jamaica. I stayed with 3 other business colleagues for 2 nights on the 22nd Sept 2008. I had a room on the 9th floor overlooking the... more

We stayed here because we were stuck in Kingston because our flight was cancelled due to Tropical Storm Gustav. All I can say is.. is this really the Hilton? We were quoted a price of $165 per night for this hotel. The final bill? $250 per night. What a shock! They apparently gave us another room and didn't inform us... more
