Rooms are very basic but clean. Stayed there for a few nights I knew I wasn't going spend a lot of time at the hotel so it was good enough for me to lay my head. Bed was comfortable. The staff are very nice and friendly. The food was good. I would stay there again especially if I am on... More

I was in Kingston in March for 2 nights alone and wanted something reasonable and close to the US Embassy. Many of my friends have stayed here earlier as well. It's not the greatest in terms of facilities but the staff is warm and you get what you pay for. The restobar is basic and good enough for Hotel standards.... More

Stayed at this hotel from 18/04/15 for two nights whilst visiting Kingston. As we were not going to be spending much time in the hotel, we wanted somewhere just to lay our heads. Indies Hotel served this purpose perfectly. The hotel was nice and comfortable, although a little rough around the edges. An example was we had to ask for... More

The rooms are basic and the bathroom was old and tired. However, everything is clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a small courtyard with a pond and palms that is a very pleasant place to drink redstripes in the evening. The staff are all friendly and helpful (miss Ruth the chamber-lady is delightful) and we felt very safe.... More

We were welcomed on arrival by Albert, a very nice young man. Checking- in was very nice, received by Juliette. The rooms were basic but tidy and clean. Housekeeping staff especially Ruth a lovely lady who works very hard to make visitors enjoy their stay. The manager she was a very nice lady also. The whole purpose of our stay... More

Ok room, kind of old but had clean bedding and we slept well. No waterpressure in shower, but that happened in every hotel we stayed at. Resturant with good food and nice little area to hang out. Helpful and nice at frontdesk. We would stay again if ever in Kingston.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences Inhave had. I had a room with twin beds. The beds were hard and uncomfortable because the mattresses have seen better days, the pillows were lumpy and flat, the air conditioner was noisy, bright lights shone thru the room all night and having a shower was challenging due to a poor shower... We were only in Kingston for one night and decided to stay here. The property is a convenient 5 minute walk from the Knutsford Express bus station. The rooms are nothing to brag about, but were kept in good order and were clean. The food at the restaurant wasn't bad, be mindful though if you plan on having a late... More

The Indies Hotel in New Kingston is located on a quiet little street. It's a small and simple establishment, which is how I like to travel. The room was simple, yet clean and everything worked. The staff was very polite and ready to help with whatever I needed. There's a cute little patio, where you can sit and relax, read,... More
