it was my 1st visit to Kingston Jamaica The Pegasus is located in New Kingston which is uptown from Kingston. We only ate breakfast (incl. in our special) which was a buffet of American and Jamaican breakfast foods. We enjoyed it very much. Service was very good. The hotel has a very large pool, fitness room, spa, tennis, walking/jogging track... More

Stayed here for 1 week for business. We used a conference room and had great service. Were able to request copies from the sales office. Had fresh coffee, water and juice all day. Room was ok, including a balcony. Hotel restaurant has sufficient options for lunch and dinner. Room includes free breakfast buffet. Tuesday night is a steak and seafood... More

This was my third stay at the Pegasus. I was there four nights and throughly enjoyed it. The staff was curtious and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. I read some of the reviews where people said different things were notworking in their rooms, but that was not the case here, The complementry breakfast buffet, was appealing and satisfying.... More

My boyfriend and I stayed there in October 2011. Upon check-in, we got to the front desk, my boyfriend asked the lady at the desk how she was doing, she simply replied fine. We never received a tradtional welcome, as would be received at other hotels. She took our info. We asked questions, and she kept going to the back... More

As keynote speaker at an arts conference, I was lodged at this hotel Oct. 12-15, 2011. After reading a couple of negative reviews, I was delightfully surprised. One review said something about the place not stacking up against European quality. I wonder about people with 'colonialist' perspectives like that! The property was clean, well-kept, and inviting. The entire staff exhibited... More

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times. mainly for business, pleasure definitely not my first choice. The rooms are a good size but the bed is a bit hard which could be a problem if you have back issues. The air-condition sometimes is a hit or miss as some units cool better than others and if you... Most folks going to Jamaica from the US only see the north side of this large beautiful island, and certainly tourist trade is a large contributor to Jamaica's economy. But Kingston is a fascinating modern city, ~ 1million inhabitants, and a vibrant business and cultural destination via a modernized, efficient airport near Port Royal, Captain Morgan's old hangout. And the... More

This hotel is located in the heart of New Kingston in a secure area. Large park nearby where you can grab some jerk pork or chicken. Staff friendly especially the housekeepers. Beautiful view of city from roof. Breakfast, a variety with lots of Jamaican specials, ackee and saltfish etc. Enjoyed my two weeks stay there.
