We travel to Jamaica regularly with a large group, and stay at different hotels so I do have a basis to compare. First, in comparison to hotels that claim to have this star rating worldwide, Pegasus is a poor imitation. Rooms are old and not very clean. Room amenities are OK for a 2.5 star hotel, may be. You don't... More

For a high priced hotel it was very basic. The resturant had a pretty good selection and the food was good but the service is terrible. Start to finish most meals are 2 hours due to the service being so slow. At checkout i questioned the bill which had 2x a service charge. I was told that one was a... More

I spent 5 nights at the Pegasus in July 2012. The hotel is convenient if staying in Kingston.. For a city hotel it has the basic amenities... restaurant, pool. Don't expect the amenities of a resort hotel. It's okay if traveling on business. The inclusion of breakfast in the price of the room was a good benefit. In addition, the... More

I’ve only been staying at the hotel for two days and I’m already disgusted. I have been coming to Jamaica annually since 2005 and have seen the Pegasus flourish from a run down hotel to one actively renovating its rooms and working on improving itself under an ambitious management. This year, we noticed things were amiss immediately. The check-in was... More

I would love to write a great review of the Pegasus and my experience there was good but not more. The check-in and check-out were coolly professional but not warm, and rather slow. My room was fine. It was large and clean and my view of the Blue Mountains was great. But, the room was seriously dated. In fact the... More

i stayed at The pegasus for a week with my 3yr old son in Feb 2012. The hotel was great. The staff was excellent and went the extra mile to help you. The room was spacious and clean. Security is tight and I felt safe, breakfast was included and was delicious. Would recommend this hotel.

For the price of this hotel and poor service and dirty rooms run down facility, forget going to the bar for a drink am from New York and the club price is better than at this hotel, management need to read the reviews.

My main gripe about this place is the pool bar. The staff see you coming and disappear! We were waiting for about 15 minutes before we got fed up and decided to go elsewhere! This kept happening, so we didn't bother going down there. The floor we were staying on stank of weed. We reported to reception on numerous occasions,... More

Was there for 5 days for business. The room is an ok 3 star standard - noisy in the evenings when there is a function going on. Pool is lovely but gym is rubbish - power kept shorting out making using the treadmill dangerous. Food is average and very expensive as were drinks (6 USD for a Perrier in the... More

Very comfortable, clean, and accommodating. Great, Clean place to stay in jamaica. I find that many hotels in Jamaica can sometimes be very humid and feel kind of gross - But NOT the Pegasus - very crisp and clean! If in Kingston again, I would definitely stay at the Pegasus.
