Picturesque, very well run eyrie. Clemens is everywhere quietly ensuring that the experience is great. The view over Kingston at night is lovely, from the restaurant balcony or the cute cottages/rooms. Elegant mosquito nets too, plus hummingbirds and fireflies. Romantic, restful. Perfect. Local walk interesting. Island Records history and photos an added interest.

Lush, manicured grounds, amiable people and luxurious private cottages are your first impression of Strawberry Hill. After you have settled in, enjoyed the magnificent views and had a moment to unwind, take a stroll through this stunning property in the Blue Mountains. My husband and I spent a fantastic long weekend at Strawberry Hill where we hiked twice, spent two... More

Hang on for your life because a nearby precipice has you holding your breathe. It is one way coming and one way going and this is not a road for novice drivers. When you reach the top you can breathe a sigh of relief, inhale the freshest air and bask in a beautiful sun lit view. this is the drive... More

Strawberry Hills put simply is a wonderful experience. My wife and I could not have enjoyed it more, unless we stayed another week. The cottages, restaurant, grounds, hikes, and staff/management were far beyond expectation. The food was so tasty. Every day - from morning until evening - was filled with warm greetings. It was very nice to hear the staff... More

We just returned from five days in heaven at Strawberry Hill Hotel. Perched on top of one of the many peaks in Jamaica's Blue Mountains, the views are in every direction. No matter if you are sitting on your sweet cottage's veranda looking towards the lights of Kingston far below, or taking a break from a yoga session on the... More

It's worth every penny. The drive up is grueling but once you arrive it makes it worthwhile. It's peaceful, beautiful, and just relaxing. The food however is pretty bad for what you pay. For such a top notch hotel you'd expect more from the restaurant. A must stay if you're in Jamaica.

This is an small hotel up in the Blue Hills of Jamaica with amazing views and a completely different Jamaican experience than you get on a beach. That being said, know what to expect. Pros: The setting, the views, the interesting architecture, the "clubby feel" in the bar and the gardens. Cons: The service could use some tweeking, the hot... More

I had read about this boutique resort in Conde' Nast Traveler a few years ago and then again when it appeared in the Gold List this year. So we researched it some more and it seemed like the perfect place to get away from it all. It definitely was. My wife and I spent 6 nights there and had an... More

You really get the feel of the old Jamaica by staying here - surrounded by the most breathtaking views of the Blue Hills you can see why this area was used as a sophisticated escape from the raw heat and humidity of the coastal regions since the days of Nelson The beautiful separate wooden villas use the vernacular of the...
