We have been travelling to Jamaica and staying at the Shafston Greathouse for 5 years now. If you are looking for a relaxing laid back experience and peace and quiet - this is your destination! This hotel has seen far better days. The rooms are dirty, the pool too but the views are magnificient. Don't speak about the kitchen.. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The owner is friendly but for a great view it's a lot of money. more

Our stay at Shafston is a list of great memories. Frank and his team welcome you at any time (we arrived at 1am). We enjoyed everything in the Great house and the surroundings. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There are plenty of places to relax: the pool room, the bar, the Jacuzzi, the swimming pool, the wrap-around porch. Watching... more
