I went to Haiti for business and research. Most of my stay was at the Villa Creole in Petion Ville. It is a a nice smaller hotel and it is down the street from the El Rancho (which has a great Sunday buffet). Initially I thought the Villa Creole was okay but I was there during the food riots and... more

I stayed at this little hotel twice while traveling on business to Haiti. The hotel is beautiful and tranquil. The entryway leads to a lovely sitting area with open archways looking onto the grounds and pool area of the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and immaculate. The hotel also feels very safe and secure. One of the things I... more

The room was clean and the front desk staff was always friendly and helpful. Cinemax and all major U.S. stations are included. Service at the restaurant was always quick and my order never took longer than 10 minutes. I paid $108 per night and there is a good chance I will stay here again. more

This is a very comfortable and relaxing place in the hills of Petionville, and is certainly one of the finer hotels in the country. The rooms are clean and well appointed, the Internet works, the pool is inviting and the restaurant is entirely adequate. While somewhat isolated, it's also within reasonable walking distance of a relatively safe and interesting part... more

Okay, it's Haiti. Once you get over the fact that you have to go (obviously I didn't really want to - company sent me) and then you try to make the best of it. Let's not get into a review of Haiti itself. Let's just say: very nice people, very desperate situation. But speaking about the Villa Creole specifically. Much... more

La Villa Creole does not live up to American Standards for the money you pay, that is not Haiti's fault, but it is decent and reasonably clean, with a great breakfast, try their version of hot Oatmeal Cereal for breakfast. Let me say I was a bit disappointed in the Hotel but not in Haiti, La Villa Creole and almost... more

A 3-day stay in late July was my 4th here in 3 years, and I still find it the most pleasant, convenient, and comfortable place to stay in Port-au-Prince/Petionville. While there is nothing spectacular about the rooms, they are consistently clean and functional with AC that works well and a good TV with a variety of English and French language... more

For me this is the best hotel in Port au Prince (actually in Petionville). Very clean and comfortable, great service, great pool area with truely comfortable lounge chairs and above all a great barman!!! If you want casino, you can walk 1/2 a block to the much more noisy and crowded El Rancho hotel more

Excellent hotel. Stayed there for a month. Food was great, service was superb, hotel personnel were very courteous, a/c worked great (although a little loud), pool was very nice, small work out room, massages available at a reasonable price, great hamburgers. Overall, would stay there again before the El Rancho. more
