Always a nice place to stay, its my second time staying at the Ideal villa hotel, and it never disappoints, Renovations were made since my last visit, and wow!, the rooms are nicer than before, haitian art is found everywhere, and the food is great; the security is very good and the staff is very courteous. would recommend it to... I’m so happy that I chose to stay in that hotel. It is very well situated, not too far from the airport. Very peaceful accommodation, large size pool. courteous hosts. The hotel grounds are very nice. Once inside it felt like being in paradise. The rooms are big, clean, and very nicely decorated. The hotel staff was very friendly and... More

I have been to Haiti many times and the place that I usually stay in PAP suffered in the earthquake. We booked the Ideal Villa not knowing how it was going to be. I was greatly surprised in a pleasant way. The rooms were clearn, wam and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very attentive. I truly enjoyed my stay. More

I really did like it, the entrance was not like wow, however, once u get inside, its to die for...One of the thing i love is the sence of security you get, once it turn 10pm the doors locked, no new check in. And the Arts in that place, the freshness at the balcony takes you back home the way... More

Went to Haiti to attend to a business matter for a banking client. It was my first time in Haiti. Someone from my client's office thought it was a good idea to place me at the Ideal Village Hotel. Wrong idea!!! Ideal is anything but "ideal." On the outside, it seems cozy enough and you get the feel of early... More

My husband and I went to Haiti mid June 2006. We stayed there for a few days. I have been staying at Ideal Villa for the past 7 years, unfortunately this year I was not satisfied at all with the cleanliness of my room. they gave us a dirty room with a broken bed no shower curtains, no window curtains,... The Ideal Villa makes you feel you are on a tropical vacation, even if you are in Port-au-Prince. It is one of the prettiest hotels in the price range in Haiti, convenient, clean and friendly. You may be serenaded in the evenings by singing from the church next door - very relaxing after a noise-filled day. The only annoyance was... More

I was there for almost one month in August 2004. There we suffered with no a/c or light. When went to complain I received service after 2 hours of complaining. I go to haiti yearly and this was the worst experience at ideal villa hotel. I will think hard before going back there again. sandi More
