I was extremely impressed with Hotel Montana, the Hotel is located on top of a hills. Extraordinary view...............The staff were courteous, the room was very clean. I was searching where to stay in Haiti I came across this website www.helprevivehaiti.com which shows places to go and see in Haiti. I was very fortunate that I decided to stay at Hotel... more

The Hotel Montana is a very nice hotel. We had a problem with a leak in the bathroom but it was fixed right away. The hotel has a beautiful view of Port Au Prince and the food was delicious. The only complaint was how slow the service was in the restaurant when it wasn't buffet night. It was a bit... more

I was in town just one night for business. Compared to Haiti in general, the hotel is fairly nice. The quality of the rooms seems to vary quite widely, however. I was first given a room on the second floor. This room was on the smaller side and the bathroom and other aspects of the room felt quite old and... more

Hotel is nice but the service is the worst. My phone would not ring and it took 5 complaints and three days to get it fixed. If you forget to dot and I on your laundry request they throw it all back in your room without doing it. that is even after telling the staff the it does not matter... more

The grounds are gorgeous, the entire layout and architecture of the buildings is exquisite. Our room was nice. The towels were hard and scratchy, the toilet kept clogging and we could only get 2 channels on our TV, neither in English. This made for a long night. The food was okay. Service was slow, but the staff was always pleasant.... more

This was my third time at the Montana in 2 years. The hotel is extremely overpriced, but we'd been told it was the safest place to stay so the last couple of times I've been to Haiti that is where I have stayed. You do feel safe up in the mountains and there are guards at the gates. The hotel... more

We stayed at the Montana 1 night while in Port au Prince delivering food from a humanitarian effort. While the rest of the city is rough and unsafe without a guide at this time, the Hotel Montana is very decent. The hotel sits above the city, about 30 minutes from the airport. It features a nice pool, a restaurant with... more

Have stayed in Hotel Montana for 2 weeks of September'08. This hotel is one of the best (if not only one) the city can propose you. Take into account the poor life here and that almost everything is imported so you should not be very demanding as you might be in Miami or Hawai. The hotel itself is located on... more

My Fiance and I traveled to Haiti, which is my birth home. We have stayed at Montana Hotel. It was wonderfully secure and private. Services were great. Customer service was excellent, the rooms were lovely, colorful and clean and so was the bathrooms. My Fiance who's from Alabama and had never visited Haiti or any other Islands was very impress... more

I stayed at the Montana in March 2008 for one week. Upon arrival I was most impressed with the elegant atmosphere. The check in took a while, because in Haiti you pay for each person who stays in the room. The resturant was beautiful and the food was good. My room appeared clean, however I had to kill two cock... more
