I was there in January 2010 it was awesome, the view of the Ocean and the mountain at the same time was sublime. Of course the price was pretty high, as most of the hotels in Haiti I should say, inaccessible to locals. Hopefully the construction of new hotels will make the prices more affordable. Je l'encourage à des visiteurs... More

Stayed and this very easy going resort for the kick-off of Haiti's recycling program by CSS Haiti, Samaritans Purse and Executives without Borders. We were greeted by the very friendly desk and escorted to our newly renovated room. Very clean and updated with a fantastic view of Wahoo Bay and the out islands. The grounds were beautifully manicured, Genevieve's pride... More

Went here for a beach day on our Missions Trip. For Haiti, it was a nice place. The key words being "for haiti". Our toilet had trouble flushing and sometimes the water would just turn off randomly during a shower. The beach was nice, but be careful of the crate platforms, they will clamp your fingers. I felt the music... More

My wife and I along with our 2 year old daughter took a little trip to Haiti in September 2009. We went to Wahoo Bay Beach and check out after two nights. The room had no phone, no tv, the bathroom was in horrible condition and the electricity went out during the day. I understand i'm in a third world... More

I have been to the resort twice with my husband and loved it both times. Its a nice quiet resort with good service and excellent food. We always enjoy staying there when I come and visit Haiti. I do have one suggestion though do not BRING FOOD INTO THE ROOM. We made the mistake of bringing chicken into the room... More

Wahoo Bay was a nice place to stay in Haiti. If you have been to Haiti before you know that they don't have electricity all the time, however the hotel has a generator so most of the time you have electricity and water. They do have a period of time where they let it shut off around 10am - 3pm,... More

This is a nice little family owned resort that could be so much more. Went there last year for new years 2004, I must admit it was during a difficult time. But for 200US a night I think they could have done more for their customers. I called in advance and made reservations; once we got to the resort the... More

Wahoo Bay is a touch of home in a land that is not-at-all like home, for most coming from America. The staff is accommodating. There are reasonable prices. Amenities have improved each year I have been there for the last decade. The beach is beautiful and refreshing. It is a great retreat for Christian teams before, during, or after their... More
