This is the only small beachfront hotel of Ste-Anne, and it is located away from the noisy heart of the town; both aspects give Le Diwali a lot of its value. Another key plus is the owner's warmth and professionalism. Of course it is a small hotel offering sort of a bed and breakfast formula, so do not expect 24-hour... More

Le Diwali is a small family owned hotel with less than ten rooms and is located on the beach in St Anne. The atmosphere created by the owners is very relaxing and inviting. Despite beiing located on the most popular beach in St Anne, the property remain very secluded and zen-like. Although it lack some bells and whistles like 24h... More

Le Diwali was a nice surprise in every way, the room was small but clean and cosy, the bathroom was nice and spacious (although yes, maybe a bit unpractical with the freaky fawcett which threw the water on the floor each time you used it...) and the entire hotel was charming in its own non-hotelish kind of way. The breakfast... More

I really can't recommend this hotel or this area. Hotel is overpriced for poor location for tourists. You could stay in nicer places, in safer areas, and visit the beach by day. Restaurants are not within walking distance in the evenings. I did not have a good experience with the hotel staff and had difficulties with my reservation. Communication was... More

Just returned from Guadeloupe where there was a general strike throughout our stay - fortunately we moved on to Les Saintes before the rioting and looting started in Sainte-Anne! I don't think anyone should go to Guadeloupe for a few months in the circumstances. I pretty much agree with everything said about the hotel and Thierry and Valerie. Its lovely,... More

The Diwali is one of life's finds. Not only is it in a stunning location right on the beach but it's run by its new owners as a change of lifestyle rather than an exercise in making money. You are encouraged to feel "at home" and nothing is too much trouble from the free rum in the spacious, airy reception... More

The french couple has clearly big joy and pleasure running their small boutique hotel with lots of love and passion. Lovely breakfast! Clean and adequate rooms but not luxiourious. Nicely located in St. Anne with a picturesque beach. But: Mosquitos kept us awake :-). St. Anne doesn't boast a big selection of restaurants unfortunately but we can recommend heartily 'Luculus'.... This is a nice charming hotel just on the eastern side of Sainte Anne`s public beach. Deluxe rooms (with a balcony and sea view) worth the money, but the other rooms are overpriced for its size. Rooms are very small, some with just 1mt free outside bed. Breakfast is nice. It´s always nice to have breakfast in a quiet environment,... More

November 2008 We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at the Diwali hotel in Guadeloupe. This is a very special place – calm and peaceful and right on the edge of a beautiful beach. Our spotlessly clean room had a wonderful view over the sea with a very comfortable bed, plus air conditioning, hair dryer, mini-bar fridge, safe deposit... More

We spend 8 nights in this beautiful and small hotel. It is located right on the beach of St.Anne and has only 8 rooms. Everything was amazing: room, style of the hotel, location, people, restaurant (especially the breakfast), service and attitude. Thanks a lot to Eddy, Marie-Jo and others for helping us and paying their attention to us. This is... More
