Located on a street surrounded by prostitutes. My credit card was skimmed minutes after I paid the hotel bill. I have strong reasons to believe it was done by the hotel staff. The mattress and pillows are terrible. The AC does not work well. Balcony is shared with another room. The room smells mold. Although there is no other hotel... More

We stayed here 1 night. We only booked this hotel because of its location. Its a 15 min walk to the ferry. Room was clean but nothing special. Friendly staff. Aircondition worked fine. Not a nice neighbourhood but for 1 night it was ok. Very expensive though.

We choose to stay at this hotel despite the poor reviews for the same reason all the other reviewers did - because it is the only choice for an overnight stay close to the ferry terminal! I don't understand this, but it is the situation. When we checked in, the lobby was a small dark room with the receptionist tucked... More

I booked this hotel in fear and trepidation having read some of the previous reviews, but I needed a handy base for the ferry port. I found no fault of the hotel. I stayed 2 nights in room 214 and it was clean and comfortable. There was a good breakfast choice. Yes, after dark it is not a pleasant neighbourhood,... More

Probably like most guests in this hotel, we booked a one night stay in order to catch a morning ferry to one of Guadeloupe's small islands. To this extent, St John Perse's location is convenient, at a 10 mins taxi ride to the ferry terminal. A shared taxi can be arranged by the hotel staff. This is where the hotel's... More

Photos are from the hotel in her heyday, pretty outside. A colleague and I both had very cramped rooms, one air con unit was very poor. Fairly clean but run down, main plus is proximity to airport, besides that, there are no nearby restaurants or really any good shops, just more tacky stuff. We explored several squares and streets, but... More

This hotel is just for a transition night. My room was small, creepy, smelly and noisy (clim + not isolated). No private parking, it is impossible to park around during the day. By night (~6.30pm) the Neighbourhood is empty of restaurants but full of prostitutes and dealers... !! I strongly not recommand this hotel unless you have no choice ...... More

This hotel is very well located near the harbour to take a cruise. However, if you have another option than staying in Pointe-à-Pitre, I would strongly recommend it. No parking place to let the car even just to bring your luggage to the room. The hotel is located in a bad place were you cannot go out, even for dinner,... More
