Lovely 2 night stay at this hotel. Beautiful gardens. Food very good. We were lucky beautiful weather beginning of October. Staff really friendly and approachable. Breakfast continental plenty of fresh fruit, selection of cereals, pastries, ham & cheese freshly made toast. Really enjoyed our stay.

We had some special friends wanting to come and stay in this part of Wales for a weekend, so we booked them and ourselves into Tyglyn.. and we were not dissapointed. I have nothing but praise for them. Waking up to such a stunning view was an absolute pleasure. Thank you very much..

We had to move out of our booked hotel as double booked. This is an old country house in beautiful surroundings which is now a restaurant serving standard county fayre with 10 rooms. The rooms are very clean and although at the more basic end of the scale re decorating and carpeting they are comfortable and are good value for... More

Perhaps I expected too much of a special offer, but if it was to attract new customers, it failed dismally. Our room, room 3, was so basic I had to go to reception to ask for chairs to sit on. There were no shelves in the bathroom and the only space to put anything like cosmetics was the window sill... More

Visited Tyglyn for Sunday lunch on the recommendation of a friend. I was not disappointed. The staff were excellent, attentive without being intrusive. Food was well presented and most enjoyable. A return trip is definitely'on the cards'

We stayed here first week of September 2015. My husband was unexpectedly on crutches so the management very kindly upgraded us to the Bridal suite as it had 2 chairs in a bay window with lovely views of the surrounding countryside.( NB no lift). Food was excellent, service was polite, efficient and friendly; decor needing updating but clean; bed very... More

...they couldn't do more to make it up to us. Poor Mark looked crestfallen. I'm sure the bollocking can't have been nice mate! Great setting and lovely grounds...not at 630 am though...😁...the upstairs hall could do with some TLC guys. Rooms 7, 8 and 9 share a pump so if there is no shower leave it trickling, it will eventually... More
