Stayed here last summer for 3 nights prior to a sailing holiday. There was 6 of us. My parents in their early 60s, husband and I in our early 30s and our boys 1 and 3. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. Up on the top floor with great views although it was a lot of steps to carry up... More

We stayed in one of the two bedroom units and it was perfect! It is a quaint little place that has real charm. The beach is outstanding. There are three restaurants within walking distance - one is on the property, another is next door at the Kaiula hotel. The third is a wonderful restaurant called Sangria (a must!). The unit... I usually stay in Grand Anse while in Grenada, but my usual hotel didn't get back to me, so I decided to try something new. The Gem is an older facility, and I had an apartment complete with a kitchen. The refrigerator and microwave worked and the staff made sure I had ice cube trays. Since I got off the... More

If there is one thing that can make or break a trip overseas is your first impression of your accommodation, after all, one likes to feel like you are in a home away from home. This was my 2nd visit to the spice isle but my first to Gem's, a mix property of apartments with self contained rooms equipped with... More

This place has past its best before date a long time ago. The room was dirty and full with ants when we arrived. Room has a/c The room has a bad odeur and the cleaning lady dont want to clean the room. The cleaning lady really seems to hate her job and the guest and she really dont want to... More

We were lucky enough to get over to Grenada this year to see family in Carriacou, but as we arrived after the Osprey ferry and Island plane had left we needed to stay overnight in Grenada and a friend recommended the Gem Resort. I'm so glad they did! once we landed we got one the many taxis from the airport,... More

The "Gem" accommodations were ideal for my vacation purpose, "peace, quiet and independent living!" A pick-up from airport was arranged by hotel. People are very friendly and accommodating. On entering the hotel you can actually feel the positive vibes. Rooms were clean, spacious and amenities were working, which means fans and AC was powerful!!!! Hotel is a short walk to... More

We are not "Resort" travelers. The Gem has a nice pool with swim up bar, a good restaurant and a great beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Not real close to any shopping, unless you are up to walking quite a distance or you can order a cab. Just up the road is a really good restaurant called the "Sangria".Wonderful view... More

A group of us from Trinidad went over to Grenada and spent the weekend. Lorraine at reception was very nice and helped us settled in. The rooms were okay, I won't consider the place a resort, but rather self contained mini apartments. The only issues I had was that the air condition unit wasn't working properly and that there was... More

Myself and 4 female friends spent the weekend in Grenada at this resort (16-18 May 2014). Nice accommodation for the price. The word "Resort" in the hotel name may be a bit misleading. Was more a small apt than a hotel room. Adequate kitchenette and great use of space for living room, dining table and balcony. Garden view also had... More
