Very much a Gem in an excellent location. We had a nice quality and fully functional ocean view apartment with balcony for a week - on a very quiet and beautiful beach (Morne Rouge cove), next door to the busier Grand Anse beach. Mrs Moore and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful (as were all the Grenadians... More

Stayed here on my own for a diving holiday, the first time I travelled on my own for ages and was a little apprehensive. I shouldn't have worried. the family who own the hotel made me feel very welcome, thank you Julia. I had a charmingly quaint double room, with four poster bed, ensuite shower room, huge sittingroom/diner and kitchen.... More

We have eaten here twice now in the last week and commented to the owner of the beach bar restaurant there didn't seem to be anywhere to review this restaurant only that of the resort. She said that here would be an ok place to write a review so here I go. The bar restaurant is set close to where... More

Stayed here last summer for 3 nights prior to a sailing holiday. There was 6 of us. My parents in their early 60s, husband and I in our early 30s and our boys 1 and 3. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. Up on the top floor with great views although it was a lot of steps to carry up... More

We stayed in one of the two bedroom units and it was perfect! It is a quaint little place that has real charm. The beach is outstanding. There are three restaurants within walking distance - one is on the property, another is next door at the Kaiula hotel. The third is a wonderful restaurant called Sangria (a must!). The unit... I usually stay in Grand Anse while in Grenada, but my usual hotel didn't get back to me, so I decided to try something new. The Gem is an older facility, and I had an apartment complete with a kitchen. The refrigerator and microwave worked and the staff made sure I had ice cube trays. Since I got off the... More

If there is one thing that can make or break a trip overseas is your first impression of your accommodation, after all, one likes to feel like you are in a home away from home. This was my 2nd visit to the spice isle but my first to Gem's, a mix property of apartments with self contained rooms equipped with... More

We were lucky enough to get over to Grenada this year to see family in Carriacou, but as we arrived after the Osprey ferry and Island plane had left we needed to stay overnight in Grenada and a friend recommended the Gem Resort. I'm so glad they did! once we landed we got one the many taxis from the airport,... More

The "Gem" accommodations were ideal for my vacation purpose, "peace, quiet and independent living!" A pick-up from airport was arranged by hotel. People are very friendly and accommodating. On entering the hotel you can actually feel the positive vibes. Rooms were clean, spacious and amenities were working, which means fans and AC was powerful!!!! Hotel is a short walk to... More
