The hotel is clean and tidy. We stayed in a beach front room which was very comfortable. The sunbeds are very old and uncomfortable. They look really tatty. We have so many fond memories of Grenada especially at the Rex as it was where i proposed to my now Fiance! After 30 years we returned to Grenada and found the people just as friendly and accommodating as they were back then. The Rex is a quiet enclave near the airport with great staff on one of the best beaches on the island. Although the hotel may not be 5 stars, for the price it is a great and unmatched value.... more
