First of all, all hotels in Grenada deserve credit for having survived Ivan and the poor economy. We have stayed in all sorts of hotels from Grenada Grand on down to a local guest house and have never experienced an unclean, or unfriendly place. Because of Ivan almost every hotel has new furnishings and finishes. Where else in the world... more

I was in Grenada last June needing a place to rest my bones for a few days. I was lucky enough to get a room here and I had been roughing it around the Caribbean prior to my trip. This hotel isn't overly impressive but the price is fair and the location is great. I loved the area and when... more

We stayed at the Allamanda for a week and can't wait to recharge our batteries when we return, hopefully next summer. We researched our options and the Allamanda is definitely the best value on Grand Anse (the best beach in Grenada). The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely furnished. The beds v. comfortable, wireless internet, and an altogether relaxed ambiance... more

My husband and I stayed here last weekend on our way home from Carriacou for three weeks. We got there in the late afternoon and left first thing in the morning so we didn't get a chance to use the beach or pool facilities. The hotel is very clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The restaurant, even though... more

The resort is dead center of grand anse beach. Beach was great. There are 2 large trees that Ivan didn't budge in front of here. Thank Heavens for that. Yes, the locals from the public beach sometimes hang here but they are very nice. The people that bring there wares to the beaches are very considerate. Most ask to show if... more

Nice small hotel situated in the middle of famous Grand Anse Beach with direct beach access. Clean rooms with fridge, coffeemaker, TV, AC, fan and safebox. Very friendly owner and staff (esp. Marsha at front desk). Perfect beach with (few) free beach chairs. Restaurants and a small shopping mall with supermarket (incl. a deli) and food court in a five... more

We stayed at the Allamanda a couple of days before our cruise and a couple of days after. The night we arrived, we had dinner on the terrace of their restaurant. It was late, and a long wait for the curry I ordered, but when it arrived it was superb. The ONLY complaint I have about the Allamanda is that... more

My partner and I stayed at this hotel recently with our daughter. We only wanted a clean basic hotel as a base to visit relatives on the island. We paid £2,300 (room only) for the holiday and paid an extra £150 for a seaview room (through virgin). The hotel was poor value for money. The pool had tiles missing. The jacuzzi... more

This is a great budget hotel and on one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. The owner made us feel very welcome and our tour guide, from Virgin Holidays, was extremely helpful. The area around the Hotel is named locally as Little Wall Street because there are 4 banks within 100 metres. Plus there was a green where the... more
