Just come back from 2 weeks at the Calabash with a teenager. Location fab on secluded bay with yachts to watch and away from the hubbub of Grand Anse. Hotel food top quality, cooked to perfection and making use of local produce. The lightest sponge cake and doughnuts at afternoon tea to die for! Staff friendly and always willing to... more

Having just returned from our holiday/wedding/honeymoon at The Calabash Hotel I would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to be married on the beach and in delightful surroundings. The arrangements for our wedding went like a dream - no hitches at all - even the sun was shining. Everything at this hotel fully lived up to our expectations. The accommodation... more

I had the fortunate experience to stay at this fantastic property on a recent trip to Grenada. It is an absolutely stunning hotel. Everything about it is beautiful. It is an all Suite Hotel and has a 'Gary Rhodes' restaurant where the food is to die for. I could find no fault what so ever with this hotel. Have a... more

Never having written an online review before (for anything, not just a hotel), I'd been meaning to make an exception for the Calabash for some time - but reading a recent poor review has spurred me into action. I can't say enough good things about my stay there. The setting is beautiful, particularly the hilltop spa overlooking a bright blue... more

We had expected a lot more having read all the reviews for this property on Trip Advisor. Found the hotel a little stuffy and pretentious! Good luck trying to get a casual drink after 6pm if you are not dressed up for the occasion. While the hotel does have some great features it would only get a 3 star rating... more

We honeymooned at the Calabash in April-our first visit to sunny Grenada. The Calabash is a relaxing happy hotel with wonderful attentive and fun staff, set in pretty gardens edged by a lovely beach. Great views over Prickly Bay -good for spying on yachts! Our room was airy spacious and well equipped-hueg bathroom which we love on holiday-great touches like... more

We couldn't recommend Calabash highly enough! It's all about the little touches and the personal service here. The location is lovely, set on a secluded bay away from the main tourist area of Grand Anse and yet you are still close enough to both the Grand Anse beach and St Georges to enjoy what they have to offer. The suites... more

We most definitely enjoyed our stay at Calabash...the only problem was that the stay was too short. Next time we will make plans to stay longer...we are already talking about our return trip to Grenada and the Calabash Hotel. Not only was the facility excellent, the staff was first class! Every employee treated us so well and we felt very... more

Sometimes when you book a holiday it is a gamble - you don't really know what you will find. With the Calabash we needn't have worried. Everything was perfect. The staff, accommodation, food, beach were all excellent. Little touches like a personal maid to cook your breakfast (just like you want it), fruit cocktails on the beach each morning, afternoon... more

We had been recommended to the Calabash by friends as they knew we wanted somewhere special to stay for our 30th wedding anniversary. We couldn't have chosen a more perfect place if we'd tried. The thing that sets the Calabash apart from any other hotel we have stayed in is the service at breakfast - you feel almost decadent not... more
