Just got back from my 3rd stay in the DR and my first time at the Majestic. The hotel is very clean, the grounds are nice but when it comes to food and service, its not quite 5 stars. The restaurants are average for a la carte if I compare to my previous visits down South to 5 star hotels.... more

The majestic colonial is beautifully built. The food was very good. There were a lot of options on where to eat and usually a great selection of options in the buffets. The bar tender in the Lobby Bar and his compatriots, Kelvin, Isaura, Alejandro and Eva, were wonderful. Every night we enjoyed having a drink and swapping stories with them.
