The restaurants are excellent but do not take reservations. If you go right at opening which for most is 6:30 pm you get in right away. If you like to eat later be prepared for a bit a wait. The Japanese side the the Asian restaurant opens at 5:30 pm and is usually full for the evening by 6:30 pm... more

My wife and I spent a relaxing week at Dreams Palm Beach. It was exactly what we expected and wanted with this trip. The resort is on the smaller side which we wanted, our room (in the preferred section) was perfect, the beach was awesome and walkable. Room - Mixup on arrival - When we checked in the key to the assigned room did not work. The Bell Boy left and returned with the keys adjusted. The door opened this time, but there was someone occupying the room already!! This explains why the keys were not working! We were sure to put the chain on after that!... more

Overall the resort proved to be not bad, however definitely not a 5 star. This is my 6th time in Punta Cana so I have seen what 5 star resorts look like. the food is good. We had our wedding there and I found that things are never done to schedule its all on Dominican time which means always late.... more
