Food and staff were great. Ocean was awesome. Shows were boring. Did have a leak and a cockroach in the room. Came with and usually travel with a group of friends. (10 people 5 jr. Suites) 4 out of 5 were humid sheets were damp as well as all clothing kept in the room. Got free golf for my trouble.

We travelled to the Iberostar Bavaro in July of 2011. The room was very big and it had a sitting area inside and outside on our patio. There was always plenty to eat. We just returned from an amazing vacation at Iberostar Bavaro. The food was outstanding at the specialty restaurants. The service was top-notched and the staff helpful and friendly. Just returned after 7 night stay. Have been to Aruba, Mexico and Cap Cana, first time to Punta Cana and an Iberostar resort. Check in smooth- rooms not ready but soon after were. Had buffet lunch down by pool. This is probably where the resort should focus their attention. MANY people not in shoes or cover-ups( like the sign says)... More
