Amazing scenery here, maybe because it's the only beautiful place I've been to nature-wise. I came with a group of students for one week and we enjoyed our stay overall. We were out most of the daytime on weekdays (10am-5pm) for studies but we were there during the nights and early mornings, which were beautiful standalone. There wasn't much to... More

We have rented 2 apartments and the living space for 4 adults and 3 kids was amazing. The resort is clean and quiet, the terraces with sea view are impressive. There is a shopping center 15min driving in Cap Cana which makes the life easy. The downside of Golden Bear is the beach - you are not close to it... More

I have to say, the Golden Bear its not for everybody. It is situated in Capcana but its far from everything so its very quite and peaceful. Its NOT INCLUSIVE so you have to bring your food (but the kitchen is very well equipped), it can be VERY hot but thats because of the weather not them (the infrastructure is... More

Limited service all over, Restaurant was awful. I had to leave because the heat inside it was so intense. Almost all of our rooms had problems. (7 guys on golf trip) Resort empty and not near the beach, Punta Espada golf is gorgeous though.

Cap Cana is the most beautiful defunct place I have ever been! Golden Bear Lodge is a perfect example. Very nice facility with very poor management and underutilized facilities. A shame really. Dont waste your time here. There are literally hundreds of better options in the Punta Cana area.

I happens to be like to relex in a Quiet place So I thought this would be a right place for me And brought my own food (So I wasn't counting on eating out anyway) But it all starts with a bad smell in the kitchen area Like some dead rats Beside that nothing Here attracted me The property around... My wife and I dined at the golden bear lodge after an amazing round of golf at the nearby Punta Espada golf course. It was obvious that the servers had little to no training from management. We were seated by a hostess who appeared like it was her first hour on the job. We then waited 10 minutes with no... More

Hotel was part of an "all inclusive holiday package" (little information received from the tour operator before this last minute departure). Hotel staff rather friendly but totally inefficient : 55 minutes check-in time (2 desks for 6 families), not handling specific requests nor solving problems and discrepancies... Rooms were really big and equipped with all modern equipment (except wifi, which... More

I stayed in Golden Bear for the weekend and it was great. It is the perfect place to escape the city's chaos and just relax. Since I went with a group of friends we had the best time. The rooms were clean and cozy, super comfortable beds and the spacious bathroom with a bathtub and a shower, staff were very... More

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for five nights this past February and upon booking with sunwing we were assured this was an all inclusive trip but when we got there things took a turn for the worse... First of all this hotel is NOT set on the beach so you're gonna have to travel outside the resort... More
