I'll start off by saying that we did not stay at the hotel itself. We rented a "luxury" villa on the property to accommodate our family (of 4) and another family (of 5). Our villa was in the Tamarindos section of the resort--which is about midway between the entrance to the property and the seaside areas (Las Minitas; Altos de... More

The weather is great, rooms are with Loccitaine products:)) and the views are gorgeous! The only thing would be our room is by the ice machine and there's a loud noise that occurs every 10-15 minutes it seems at night. Room 397. I like its on the first floor. The real estate around here is amazing. Staff are all extremely... More

Casa de Campo is definitely one of the best resorts we have stayed at worldwide. The 7000 acre property is well maintained, beautiful and huge. We chose the all inclusive option and found the food to be excellent on the main property and at the Marina -not a bad meal in 7 days. Each beautiful room is given their own... More

Don't just go to the Caribbean - go to Casa de Campo. The staff treated every guest like you were a 5 star visitor and there were plenty of those If you're looking for "spring break" this is not your trip but if you want to relax and live like the 1% for a while you have arrived. Due to... More

In short, Casa de Campo is an over-priced overall average wannabe resort nestled within an enclosed rambling high-end community. The enormous property is gorgeous if you like looking at how the one percenters live. The hotel itself has many shortcomings. You can tell the owners focus is on the real estate portion of the complex since it appears to be... More

If you are looking to take the family away to a gloriously holiday and you are very active, this is the resort for you. Golf, tennis, swimming, skeet shooting, paddle boards, polo, the list goes on. The hotel rooms are nice but the villas are nicer. There is a reason people book year after year! Superb!

Last week was my second trip staying at Casa de Campo. It is a lovely place and the weather can not be beat in Nov and Feb (the months I have been there). The golf is great, including the practice facilities. Restaurants are mostly all very good. Especially like La Cana for lunch and La Piazzetta or The Beach Club... More

Casa de Campo has the broadest of world class activities (golf, tennis, skeet shooting, deep sea fishing, polo, horseback riding, etc) while offering numerous dining options. It is a big resort so a golf cart or car is recommended to get the most out of it. Altos de Chavon is a great close to diversion while Minitas Beach is the... More

Once we agree that this resort is mainly for golfers, lets discuss all that is wonderful about it. The 3 golf courses are very well maintained and include some very challenging holes and fabulous views. My husband played every day of our 11 days stay and I played 4 times. I went to the beach the other days. The beach... More

I just returned from 8 nights at the Dominican Republics Casa de Campo Resort. This is a very large, expansive property with beautiful and challenging golf courses, a very nice beach, great accommodations and a replica of a early European village high above the Chavon River. With every guest receiving a golf cart for transportation (you'll need one) you can... More
