From the entry of the Costambar was very not what you'd expect ventruing off your vacation. The entry of the Costambar is guarded and a bunch of crowd stands outside. Yes, Jazmin sends a cab $45.00, the cab was so dirty, the cab was not what you'd expect on a vacation. You'd not use this type of cab in US.... more

My friend and I stayed at Villa Jazmin and found it to our liking. It was small, cozy and the staff made us feel welcomed. It might not be enough for those who want luxury accomodations, though I was told by the mananger that they were upgrading in the coming summer months of 2009. However, for those who want intimate,... more

I stayed at Villas Jazmin about a year ago with my parents and sister. I must admit that upon first entrance I was wary. The storefront was sparse, the city very much 3rd worldish, and the room was spartan. However, this resort grew on me. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was ok, but what was nice... more

We booked this family vacation through RCI time share program. As opposed to all inclusive resorts, Villas Jazmin is a cultural immersion experience. While this makes it a little more rustic, it also gives you a true sense of the Dominican Republic! We were part of a huge group and stayed in the 2 story house across the street as... more

My brothers and I wanted to go on a nice trip and chose this one. The Villas are o.k. and very clean. However we were pressured daily to go on timeshare trips that they tell you are not timeshare trips until you get there. The hotel then pressures you to buy the all inclusive meals. We were told that our... more

I had travelled the world and stayed at many hotels and resorts. The service provided my manager was extremely poor and corrupt. This guy was ignorant. He offended my friends girlfriend and said they should go to a by the hour hotel. He said he was offering us a good advice. We refused to pay the $100 he wanted. we... more

Good: free drinking water, usually quiet because in residential area, comfy couches, bed ok, good tv with movie channels. AC works good and is quiet. One day it quit, but was serviced immediately. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Inside secured gated community of Costambar. Not so good: spiders in bedroom, webs on ceiling, not clean under bed, most floor... more

We bought a time share two years ago at the villas jazmin and at that time we had a wonderful two week stay. We went back this year for the first time since buying our time share. The minute we got into the bar we ordered our drinks and the bartender there was the same one that we had two... more

On day of arrival 8/25/076 escorted to Reina Delmar building by worker. Met 2 other employees in hall carrying a mattress upstairs I said hello and spoke couple sentences to one of the individuals who responded back in English. I was told the lady is on her way with the towels, so I had to use the bathroom so I... more

My family and I recently spent our vacation at the Villa Jazmin. Upon arrival I was very disappointed. We were not aware that it was located in a residential community. The rooms were not very attractive and needs a lot of updating. The air conditioning system is very poor and the rooms were still hot with the a/c on. There... more
